Your calculation for amount of blocks seems off. If you are using 64sf the amount of blocks should be 72. The material you listed are also off. 1 bag of cement can't lay, fill and rough cast and render that area wall. You did not include any pricing for steel material and labour. Comparison is not accurate. If I'm wrong please enlighten me.

Love your video! Like you said, block work isn't as expensive, but it is the most important phase of the construction.

UTech SBLM (School of Building and Land Management) offers a Diploma (3 years) and a BSC (1 year) in Construction Management. I completed the Diploma program and or may not join the BSC program, unsure if I wish to participate in the industry. We did all the building disciplines and mainly focused on industry standard practices, management and some project measurements and costing. Would be open to have the discussion of whether or not this program is up to the standard of training and certification you have in mind. Goes without saying I am huge fan of the movement and have questions RE unconventional building materials/methods that I would love to hear your thoughts on.

These are valid points your making. We do need structure in the industry and the government needs to begin to look into it. The practitioners in the sector have to learn the technical nuances via trial and error. The management skills business accumen is what is necessary to be successful at executing projects.

Am not knowledgeable about construction but as a homeowner who observed the building of my house is scared for this homeowner.at one point I suffered because of bad piping.it affected my electricity and roofing plus other issues .still struggling with water seepage and electrical issues 😢
