Earth Science Classroom
United States
Приєднався 12 січ 2021
The 'Earth Science Classroom' is a channel dedicated to exploring all scientific disciplines associated with earth science and environmental science. The channel is focused on how the Earth is formed, and its natural processes. As a science teacher, science education is one of the priorities of this channel, both for students and fellow teachers. This channel covers the following topics are topography, physical geography, geomorphology, atmospheric science, astronomy, oceanography, meteorology, astronomy, geology, geologic history & hydrology.

Human Demographics I=PAT Formula
Переглядів 76День тому
Discussing the how the I=PAT formula takes key demographic factors and statistics to quantify the potential impact on the planet's environment caused by population. Associated factors of technology, and wealth are contributing factors in the potential impact. Both negative and positive discussions are held over this formula and how the world is changing over since the turn of the 21st Century.

Do you mean geological or volcanic there's a different types of quakes quakes on Mars so stop calling Mars quakes earthquakes...
I suggest you simulate why the seawater at the seaside first recedes into the sea during a tsunami, leaving a large area of the seabed near the coast exposed, and then rushes back, submerging the coast and crossing the seawall. The illusion of seawater receding has tempted many people, causing them to delay their escape time and ultimately leading to the loss of many lives.
Pathetic demo.😅
Do you see the tech tonics plates???
Wasting water was not necessary to explain that
Big shot out to the tectonic plates for being able to push up against the ocean 💪🏾 🐐'd #HorseCrab
All I heard: ... Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Tectonics Edit: i'm not ignorant, I just didn't understand a thing
17 likes is crazy. Super helpful! THANK YOU!
I wonder what the speed of sight is
What an excellent and clarifying demonstration👍
Unstoppable
Damn okay sounds a lot worse when you say the whole ocean being moved
Wow, powerful.
Could you tell me what level students are these videos intended for
These videos are aimed at secondary or high school aged students between the ages of 12-18 years and
....... Mmm , but the model is Flat!!!! Really weird!!! 😅
thanks! this was to the point, very helpful
People who wanna surf
Team America (Laurasia) and Team Antarctica (Gondwana) joins forces in the Triassic, wipes out almost 95% of life in the process and becomes the All Mighty Great Pangaea
🥷🏽Ryo Niile - Atlantis🌊
Very well explained. Thank you!
Now I understand why the water gets pulled out and goes low, before the big wave hit... thanks
Wow!😮
Ocean waves are made by moon attraction, not wind ...
Why music why😢

Arshdeep kya test khel sakta hai kabhi ?? Left arm pacer 🔥 Swing bahut achi karta hai
Wind does not really causes the waves you see. It is the Earth-Moon gravitational force.
When wife nags..i teller her its ancient history😆
Duh! When you see a Star.. you only see the reflection of a star which probably doesn't exists anymore.
Loud like a bomb!!!!!
You should explain more, this is only describing
Maybe if you make a washer from aluminum foil, then use it as a spacer it would make it cooler in the center and hotter on the outside giving a circular current. The foil heats the outer ring causing it to rise, the center column sinks and replaces it, over and over.
I‘m sorry, is this made for 5 years olds ? 🤔
>Miles 🙄
Fun fact the moon on average is 1.3 billion feet away. Speed of light is 1,000,000,000 feet/second
Coke water? 🧐
Imagine the farthest thing in the universe, even an infinite border or an ever expanding perimeter of whatever you can imagine. Now, contemplate that this is the border of _you_ with everything _outside of you._ Even the things you think you are touching right beyond your fingers, only a few centimeters away, are _actually_ outside of your whole perceived universe and are further than infinity away from you. Call me crazy, but when we have a sexual encounter, it feels like two _colliding universes_ at times, and this is an _accurate_ description given the _actual_ borders of one body vs. another. Remember, the actual border of yourself with external reality is beyond infinity as far as we can perceive it. Even holding hands traverses this infinite gap. The emotions involved in physical intimacy make more sense when considering this physical phenomenon.
Are you high on ecstasy?.
Best demonstration ever!
If you're gonna do science facts, you better do them in the language of science: SI units. Imperial units are stupid. In fact, you should do a short about that Mars mission that failed catastrophically because NASA provided all the specs in SI units (obviously), but the stupid American contractors thought they were imperial, royally fucking up the entire mission.
So the light we see from the moon left the sun 8 minutes and 1.3 seconds before.
The distance between the earth and the sun varies by about 5 million km (5Gm) throughout the year, which is well over 12 times the distance between the earth and the moon. So the light from the sun takes on average 8 minutes to reach the earth, but there's about 15 seconds of variability in that time, making the time light takes to reflect off of the moon and reach the earth quite negligible.
Now I HAVE to commit.. is it theory or reality? Lol
By this fact, absolutely everything you see is in the past because the light has to travel to your eyes. Even though it is a fraction of a microsecond
Everything we sense- light, sound, taste, whatever, is in the past. Fun fact, time does not actually exist as we perceive it.
Time is relative.
Fun accurate fact. The speed of light is 186282miles per second!
To be fair, you're seing your own hand or closer still, your own nose, as it was in a recent past. Worse still, when you touch your nose with your finger, one nerve impulse (not the one going from nose to brain but the one going from fingertip to brain) clearly had a longer journey to make. Yet the two sensations (nose feels fingertip, fingertip feels nose) are simultaneous...😮 The notion of simultaneity, or of present, even, is... murky, at best
Technically speaking wouldn’t it be more than 1.3second in past as the moon doesn’t emit light and reflects it from the sun meaning 8mims 1.3 seconds as it takes around 8 mins for sunlight to reach earth
Losten closer. He said that once the sunlight hits the moon, it takes 1.3 seconds to go from the moon to earth. He is not counting from the sun to the moon.
thermocline and stratification- teach the vocabulary too ;)
