Bought the Buick with a straight pipe, but someday I want to replace the exhaust by one with a resonator
Buick LeSabre 1976 walk around
Переглядів 8 тис.5 років тому
This is a walk around of my ‘76 Buick LeSabre Custom 2 door hardtop with the 455 engine and the 4 barrel Rochester carburator. At the moment it has a straight pipe which I want to replace for one with a resonator.
Hi, I just acquired one of these cars (a 76'), and I am in need of two (2) Front Black Seat Belt assemblies'. I'm trying to learn what "exactly" I'm after because they were removed and thrown out (by the original owner) in an 'anti-seat belt' rage / mentality 40 years ago !. I please wondered if you could (by some crazy miracle) assist me in this need / or offer suggestion as to where I might go in my FINDING these front assemblies. I WOULD GREATLY APPR. YOUR HELP !. (*If u even can give me any). Best
A BIG bloo(blue) bootiful bits 😂
this buick and the olds 88 coupe were some of the most attractive cars of the mid 70s. you cant transport your big family plus luggage in more style!
I'm a little confused. Wouldn't the "ventiport" trim on the side be for a V-6 car not a V-8 car? I searched UA-cam for a '76 Lesabre with a V-6, and this link came up. Saw the 3 "ports" per side and thought I'd found one, but then I see this is a 455. Just curious.
It’s indeed a bit confusing. Very early on at Buick, the number of ventiports indeed indicated the number of cylinders in the engine. 3 Ventiports indicated a V6 and 4 ventiports indicated a V8. Later in time at Buick, it indicated a certain level of luxury. The LeSabre was the entry-level model of the full-size Buicks and therefore had 3 ventiports. The Electra was the top of the line-up and therefore had 4 ventiports. The 1976 LeSabre was the only American full-size car with a standard V6 engine, which was Buick's brand-new 231 CID (3.8 litre) V6 engine (which barely sold). Optional was a 350 CID (5.7-litre) V8 and a 455 CID (7.5-litre) V8. The Electra was only delivered with a 455 V8.
I bought my first car in ‘91 and it was a brown Lesabre with the 455 for $550. Felt like a king at 17 years old driving that monster
That must have been a great time for ypu😎
big block is unmatched. Great car again Richard!
sweeeettt ride, Lovely sound!
Thank you!! The 455 is a great engine.
My dad bought a used 50K mile coupe. 350 engine. Every time I sat at a stop light I thought the damn thing stalled because the engine was so quiet and smooth. Even my 3.5 Lexus ES can't claim that.
I worked at a Buick/Oldsmobile dealership in 1976. I loved these and still do. The most exciting part of my day was the arrival of the new car carriers with more new cars.
That must have been a great time! Sometimes I wish we could turn back time.
@@richardbuick9029 It was a good time. The dealership was a small one in a town of 10,000. We had a one car showroom. That was the year that the Oldsmobile Cutlass was king. I remember that just about every Cutlass that was unloaded had a little sign stuck to the inside of the windshield that said “SOLD”. These were order outs. I used to love seeing how people ordered their cars. It sure isn’t like today. I will always enjoy my memories.
@@dave1956 Enjoy your beautiful memories !
Very nice car. I like that it has the biggest V-8. The 455 cubic inch/7.5 litre.
Thank you! The 455 is a very nice engine with a lot of torque💪😎
Wish I owned that. Cool car
I ❤️ this car , I have black one
🆒💪🔥👍
Is this car for sale?
Sorry, not for sale
How do YOU get in the car?
That’s a challenge now and then

Sounds heavenly...
Real nice
Back when cars had style.
Actual new yorkers know New Haven prob has the best pizza
My first car was a 69 Pontiac bonneville miss that tuna boat till this day
Buick knew what they were doing when they made the lesabre
Difara 7.2 thats a review
this car is beautiful, and this blue color is perfect! it's a good time the 70s for cars!
очень круто
my guy looks a bit like davey
Sweet! My son has mint condition 1977 Limited with 48K miles.
Horrible expensive pizza. Wasted my time trying to check this corner spot out driving from Queens to Brooklyn. It's like 5 bucks fro a floppy thin slice and it wasn't even worth $2. Gave them another shot a different day and still will give them similar feedback.
Its good but overpriced by far
not really..
@@cr-it5lh 33$ for a pie. Yea over priced
Was great when the old man was there. Now it's just a tourist spot
It appears too noisy.
Now she got a new exhaust with a resonator instead of a straight pipe and now she’s very quiet, as a Buick should be😉
@@richardbuick9029 👍👍👍
Not at all.
Out of all the GM makes I think Buick had the greatest looking road wheels
I had a day old piece of their pizza that my brother brought back from New York in his backpack and it was by far the best slice of pizza I've ever had. It's ridiculous.
Funny how good pizza is amazing old and cold vs fresh cooked local pizza
7.2 all day
I just had it. Easily 7.4 man
An actual 9.4

THIS BUICK IS FROM 1976, THE YEAR I WAS BORN
I DO love these GM 70's Land yachts.....they were THE BEST !!!
I totally agree with that!!!
Dopeboy Special. Gotta Love it, .
My father had the same exact car with white interior.
I was 16 years old in 1976 this car is nice I like this Royal Blue color Thanks for posting.
I was 16 in 1976. My first car was a 1976 Pontiac Grand LeMans. Beautiful car. Had a job after school. The most beautiful dash board, of any GM car. Just me saying. Factory 8 track. Placed the tape right into the radio dial. Miss that car. That Buick is beautiful. Got married and have driven Buick's up until now. Never had a bad Buick. Safe as well. Had a head on collision in a Park Ave. Broken foot only.
get ready for a ride...at 4 bucks a gallon, it better be a good one.
Don't sell it, it will be a victim of getting Donked out, by outrageous loud sound system, 32 in. ghetto rims, ugly velour interior, And gold Grillz hanging on the rearview mirrors and interior smelling like WEED !!
Pizza Show anyone
Had a 72 Lesabre ,beautiful automobile.
