@@Jade-ur5wh hi jade, thanks for asking! i discarded 3 tong because i had x2 4ban along with x1 5 ban, as well as x2 7 tong. there’s a chance of drawing 3 & 6 ban to call card, or even the third 4 ban & 7 tong to call card also. so i felt the sensible decision would be to discard 3 tong since i already have 4, 5 & 6 tong done, no need to go the ‘longer’ way. but i can see why keeping 3 tong & discarding 5 ban would be sensible also, can accept 2, 5 & 8 tong to call card. either way, i think there’s no right or wrong, just depends on what tiles enter!

@@patriciakhor6028 hahaha i get where you’re coming from, you got a point. but i prefer to put ‘unique titles’ so that i can look back on and remember significant moments from every video. and also, it’s good for viewers to know that everybody has up’s and down’s in mj, including myself. i’ve only shown the good hands and the times i’ve won in my past videos, figured it’ll be good for a change!

Anyways i kinda forgot what were the hands since its been a few days but nothing serious la😂 sometimes i feel when i watch videos or livestream, the way of thinking/observing compared to when sitting down myself rly got difference also hahaha

@@icynism yeah for sure, being on the mj table playing with 3 other people & observing as a bystander is definitely v different. but even if you never tilt, you still need consistent luck to help you comeback. without it, abit tough uh hahaha

@@nehcninakred kam kam hu is a special hand that consists of all triplets and a pair of eyes. it has to be concealed, or else it’ll just be deemed as a pp hand. which also means that you can only self draw

@@Jvios yeah i probably should have, at least can call card after eating. it’s just my play style to refrain from eating as much as i can, at least other players might think that i’m doing half colour pp, make it look more dangerous. nothing wrong with either in my opinion, just a matter of preference

@@Shei-nx7po yeah you’re somewhat right. you have been a frequent viewer of my channel, i’m sure you would roughly know my playstyle now. i usually don’t like to expose the strength of my tiles, i prefer to keep it concealed and let other players guess the strength of my hand. eating 7 ban would just expose that i’m either doing a 2 or 4 double hand. if possible, i would always prefer to draw relevant tiles on my own 😅

@@joellim9830 that’s an option as well, for sure. but i like to dandiao tiles that has appeared before, higher chance of players discarding again in my opinion, it’s my play style haha. but as i said, discarding bei and wait 4 & 7 bamboo might be a better option, it’s not wrong also. depends on individual play style uh haha

@@patriciakhor6028 we play 1 double must self-draw, can’t game from other players unless it’s 2 double or more. and when you mentioned ‘not strategic in moves’ & ‘slow’, do you mean me or the other players?

@@fionachu8247 thanks for feedback! but as you can see, this video was quite sometime ago, plenty of improvements were made since then. as for the text on the screen, i’ve tried ways to lengthen the duration of the text appearing on the screen but apparently there isn’t any such feature that allows me to do that on the editing app i’m currently using. as for the rest of your feedback, it’s been rectified as shown on my latest video till date (vlog 16). thank you for your support! 🙏🏼

@@shanekwek3919 ohhh, i understand now. it’s a matter of play style. some players like to eat whenever possible just to avoid flower or hope to game faster. but for me, i trust my own drawing power more. if possible, i’ll try not to eat, unless i’m one tile away from calling then yup i probably would. every game is a mystery, nobody knows what are the upcoming tiles so i disagree with players reasoning of eating whenever possible to avoid flowers. just a matter of play style, no right or wrong!

haha it is indeed a risky move by opposite leg. unfortunately, i didn't manage to self-draw. if not, opposite leg have to pay for the other two players as well because she kena bao already.
