I do not think Tantra is just intercourse or sexual stimulation. I believe it to be channeling the sexual energy from the genitals upwards, to highten consciousness and connection. From my experience sex has nothing at all to do with expansion, far from it. What I have learned is sexual urges, energy can enslave a person, it has made me unconscious, trapped, in bondage to a person who is not good for my heart, but the lust, sex dominated my better judgement. Celibacy has set me free to channel the sexual energy into creativity, higher consciousness, to awakening. Sex, the control or not of orgasm, how ever you want to play with this energy in the lower chakras do not liberate me, it enslaved me to the material, to matter, to something, someone outside myself. I am more empowered than ever before, for the energy can be moved from the genitals, urge to procreate, to creating dreams, new ways of being, breaking limits. So no I do not beleive playing with sexual energy by focusing on orgasm or just in physical pleasure can expand, enlighten a person, far from it. I feel we are limiting ourselves to the primeval, to morality, identification to temporal.
