Your art is fantastic! And you took a lot of words right out of my mouth. I feel really hopeful for 2024, I have a lot of goals to do with my passions like art and making videos and comics, and I'm trying to find the trust in myself to finally pull it off. But at the same time, so much is happening in the world. I live in the U.S. as well and every time I remember the government is funding wars & genocides with our tax money, I feel sick. Especially with what's happening to Palestine. Government reps will tell us they're on our side, and here to speak for us, but most of the time that's not true. I think they say things like that to pacify us while they make their own agenda. I wanna do something, I wanna save everyone haha, but as a broke disabled person, I keep realizing there's very little I can do. I think this year is gonna be a balancing act between feeling helpless because of the state of the world yet still pushing forward with our personal goals. I think even contributing something like creativity or empathy in this turbulent time can be meaningful. Anyway, sorry about the long comment, you had a lot to say and I wanted to respond. But I hope your health is better this year! Good job on the videos. We'll make it through this year. :)
