I'd highly recommend this vid of 6 actual warbirds starting, taxiing, taking off, flying, landing, taxiing, shutting down.

Hey Mate, was fun hanging out.
Likewise sir - quite a bit of commonality. 🙂
the same issue with me I overshooted mig then I killed it with the gun in the replay the mig turn of the fight and recover from overshoot but in actual fight I kill him. I don't understand why this happened ?!
Wow beautifully done
Thank you! Due to psoriatic arthritis, I fight with zero mobility of wrists (left wrist is like a stick from elbow to knuckle), so playing is a real 'challenge'.😆 This rendition of Time In A Bottle was BEFORE I lopped-off the top joint of my left thumb in 2022.... Currently working on McCartney's 'Blackbird'. If I can get it acceptable I'll upload. Post thumb-chop is this one (Norwegian Wood).. ua-cam.com/video/8FXX9BDLLdo/v-deo.html
I’m sorry I couldn’t comment when you were live streaming sorry I’m gonna fix it
No worries. Nice that you were there. Hope you can fix it. 🙂👍
Thanks
Thanks for paying attention to my comments. Usually, no UA-camrs pay attention to my comments. I just want to thank you❤❤
You're very welcome sir. The reason that I have the text-to-voice on the chat is that I also would miss lots of messages without it. Maybe they just aren't noticing your comments because they had no audible warning of it...? 🙂
What server was this?
It’s me again
Hi Son.
Hi!
When’s your next stream?
@@Son_Goku-140 It'll be on Fri 24May. We usually start around 22:30 (UK time), and finish around 02:30. Same on Saturdays.
Hello
Over 3 hours LOL it makes my butt hurt thinking about it LOL. At least you have a comfy chair
😆 My longest stream was about 11 hrs, & I regularly streamed for over 6 hrs. 😜 We now keep ourselves back to closing at about 02:00 (after a roughly 22:30 start).
War Thunder... flight sim... joking right??
......yeah I need to change that, so thx for the reminder 👍😆. WT is a good game, but 'Flight sim' really just refers to DCS. I don't really do WT any more, just DCS (tho' I'm pretty shallow - I just fly mainly by seat of pants & enjoy..).
I'm George plays Roblox
Rgr that.
you seem like a nice lad. Great stream!
Thank you sir 🙂 (tho 'lad' might not be a fully accurate description. 🤣🤣) Hope you'll join me another time. ☺👍 TTFN
Flight-simming xD that is the best verb in the entire existence of ever. xD
I guess you like flight-simming. :)
For a flight sim dcs is better but for a game wt is better
Not sure I could agree there. Maybe some time ago, but IMHO WT outgrew itself when it added all the various vehicle types & nations. It spread the player base too much and made unrealistic aircraft combinations in battle. I believe they also unrealistically nerfed various aircraft to 'even up the field'. But it's great for those who accept all that - or those who wand to fly arcade mode. For me, DCS definitely wins - even as a game.
why are is your hotas so close together :D?
Hi tiitus....Thx for question. It's just a case of practicality. This is not just my flying station, it's also my workstation. Having them bolted together, as I have, means that I can slide the whole setup out of the way, in one go, easily. Also, being bolted together makes the whole thing significantly heavier - so it's less inclined to slide about on the desk. 👍
@@bill1949wt oh that makes sense
@@tiitustepponen9849 I made my own brackets to bolt the 2 together. Hope you get chance to hop onto my live-stream sometime. 🙂👍 I fly with Laxxor, & maybe others, on Fri & Sat evenings, usually from about 22:30 thru' to 02:30 (UK time). 🙂
Damn i missed the stream
Did you hit the bell for notifications?😆Never mind - we usually fly Fri & Sat nights (from about 22:30 to 02:30 UK time).
Hi Bill. I’m looking to get a set of rudder pedals for DCS. The VKB doesn’t have toe brakes but is far more affordable than the Virpil or MFG Crosswinds. Is it better to stretch to a set with toe brakes or is their use so limited that there’s no point?
Hi. Thx for responding. I'm certainly no expert, but I'd definitely say go for pedals that DO HAVE toe-brakes. The Spit doesn't have toe-brakes, but MANY do - it's more the norm to have toe-brakes. The Spit and the Mosquito are the only 2 that I use in DCS that don't have toe-brakes. As my vid shows, the P51 has toe-brakes, as does the P47, the BF109 and the jets that I fly. Toe-brakes are the norm. I have CH Pro pedals, which DO have toe-brakes. In UK, they'll be £100-£120. www.scan.co.uk/products/ch-pro-pedals-usb-3-axis-of-control-plus-axis-locking-for-racing-gas-brake Wishing you well with that.
DCS 💪
Great video!
Thank you. Nothing specific, just some fairly casual DCS.🙂
Hola pa, buen vídeo
one less leache sucking up tax money.
WOW 46 million holly god what your most highest br
Hi Czt. Highest BR is 7.7 (Vampire FB 5) - but only because I don't have interest in the jets - I like the piston-engine fighters. I fly almost exclusively in Brit, and about 95% of my flying time is in a Spit or a Hurricane (so I guess most viewers of my stream will probably find that boring...). I have all aircraft Ranks I to V fully open, so I think I have given the jets a fair try - but I have little to no interest in Rank V & above, even tho' (as you've highlighted) I could afford them. I also fly in DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) which is a TRUE flight-sim (whereas WT is more of a great game - tho' not as good as it used to be). Also fly in MS FS2020 (another TRUE flight-sim). Maybe catch you on my next live-stream...
Nice video!😎
Your almost at 200 subscribers!👍
What a beautiful thing you've done for me, my friend. Thank you so much
You are so VERY welcome Robin. :)
@General Quarters @Gaz_ This is by no means polished (fluffy notes in places) - but I don't seem to be getting back to it..... so here it is.
@General Quarters @Gaz_ In case you'd like to see..... Combines pleasure in flying with pleasure in making music.... :)
I listened to the time in a bottle progress report number two. Comments are turned off for some reason. Your voice definitely has that certain thing whether you want to admit it or not. If we were in a band I would definitely be voting for you to do a lot of the singing LOL. Great voice good sound. You can't teach or practice a voice like that. It's the unique natural tone of your individual voice sound. The difference between someone who can sing verses a singer. You got it. I love it. You're kinda making me want to play again.
Ah - I now see why comments were off. As it's only music, I set it as 'Made for kids' - that seems to turn off comments..... It's now set to 'Not for kids' so comments are on. Many thx for those kind words sir. :) I REALLY do hope it'll bring you back to playing - that would be an unexpected MAJOR win from uploading that progress report. Having first returned to guitar in Jun last year, recently I hadn't picked it up for about 3 months - then I was prompted to do Time In A Bottle.... so I re-started with guitar a week or so ago (causing painful finger-tips after just a 3-mth break..... ) Just for fun... my cover of Beatles - There's A Place (just me doing all instrument & vocal parts, with N°3 son on drums :) ) drive.google.com/file/d/1DPrAtbV6bp7xeY5PoJat_Gof-7cXmgGi/view?usp=sharing

What are the keys forwalking around?
I use the arrow keys to left of the number pad :) .
Cheers
nice channel :)
Thank you sir!! Have to confess tho' that I'm really just a do-er, not really a viewer.... Like with music - I'm not too much of a listener. If I like it, I don't wanna just listen - I wanna DO.. :)
whats the bailout key for dcs?
Hit J, three times. :)
@@bill1949wt thank you
cool war thunder vids you got on the channel :)
Thx Blue Cap - glad you enjoy - I also live-stream of course. .....AND I fly in DCS too... :) ..and sometimes in MSFS2020. I am REALLY not after subs (I do this cos I enjoy and I'm not interested in monetising) - but if you sub & hit the bell, you'll know when I'm live-streaming. :)
...and if you drop comments I'll respond with voice.
It would be cool to let bob to do outside preflight checks and btw nice scenery
Thx Luke - I'd now like this Aerodrome in the MSFS2020 flight sim.....
@@bill1949wt i think u can import bob usable for msfe but the aerodrome im not sure but hopefully you'll find a scenery for it or orbx makes one
@@fulcrum_9162 Thx - maybe I'll look into that (Bob) - & yep, I hope ORBX will create Stapleford same as for FSX but for MSFS. Thx for interest. :)

I recently purchased the P-47, the f-5e tiger 2, and the av-8b night attack Harrier jump-jet in DCS world. I did consider and came really close to purchasing the Spitfire. Although the Spitfire is indeed on my list the new Syria map comes before that. It's really a beautiful thing to behold. Also hopefully by the end of this week I will be receiving in the mail 64GB of high-speed Corsair overclockable memory. I am hopeful that 64 gigabytes of RAM will finally fix the stutter issues I have with DCS world. Ever since the last stable update a lot of people have been complaining about lower frame rates and stutters. I have not encountered lower frame rates but I have encountered intermittent stutters and it has actually locked up on me two or three times. I really wish Eagle Dynamics would get their act together. But that being said I'm afraid the av-8 Harrier is now my new favorite girlfriend. The P-47 is nice but it's still a work in progress and since the last table update there are some things that are considerably wrong with it. But I'm sure in the next couple of years they'll get that all straightened out. So that's basically an update on what I've been doing. I've been attempting to make some videos of my Harrier. I have actually made a couple of videos but I don't really care about uploading them. I've been in a real funk for quite a while. I've been disenchanted with the whole social media UA-cam crazy show. I'm so very glad to see you doing well and I can't wait for your next song. I wasn't really surprised you had a good singing voice. But I am quite set aback by how old school simple and good your singing voice is. Your guitar playing is quite amazing for someone who hasn't played in a while and has switched from playing bass to acoustic guitar. I told my buddy Brian there's one word to describe that and that word is Talent. Looking forward to having some more online drinks with you at some point. God bless you and happy holidays
Walter. Thank you - what a nicely comprehensive & informative & well-written comment. It was a pleasure to read :) - not least because you said "....I've been in a real funk for quite a while. " - and tho' across the pond I'm not absolutely sure what that means, I think it means that you were 'in a bad place' for a while (&, boy, do I understand that sir) - but your style & content in this comment very clearly shows that you are now out of that bad place - and that is REALLY good to know mate. I really want you to get that Spit so that we can compare notes - me from flying virtually (apart from a couple of fun lessons) and you from your flying experiences IRL. Hopefully the new Corsair memory will sort out the issues you've been having in DCS. Thanks for those very kind words re 'If' - coming from yourself as such an accomplished player, they mean a lot to me sir. I still fight the totally inflexible left wrist, and I always will (it's not going to reverse to any measurable degree) - but I'll continue to keep at it as long as I can find suitable pieces that I like (liking then can be a MAJOR part of the battle). I REALLY enjoy playing 'If', and the voice is very GRADUALLY returning after its 15yr break since the band...... I first picked up 6-string in about '62, then started using bass in mid-70s, but still played 6-string during that time - then in '83 I fully swapped to bass for the band & only then picked up 6-string again in about Aug of this year (as a necessary additional 'diversion'.....). I'm particularly glad that you liked 'If', 'cos that song and my own attempt at it has a couple of VERY special and powerful meanings for me (eg - see the inset pic on that vid....) - not just a song..... Again - thanks for your reference to 'Talent'. It's also very true tho' that 'Talent' goes totally hand-in-hand with desire - and, for a couple of reasons, I had the desire to get back to playing. (Did you ever get to my OneDrive to listen to some of our live band recordings etc - & did you get to watch the Tribute to Mu...? If not, I'll ping you a couple of links. If you'd like to friend me on FB I can ping you links on a PM.) Take care mate - good to see (& almost feel) that you are now in a good place. 'Happy holidays' - and tho' I'm not religious in any way, to quote late comedian Dave Allen - "May your God go with you.".
isthe flight model feeling similar to WT orv much more sensitive
Hi Billy. I wouldn't say more sensitive - but way more realistic - but then, I don't fly a Cessna in WT :) . In this, the Cessna 152 is so easy, and a joy to fly (& it's free!). This sim is gonna cost me just £1 (just 1) to try it for a month, then £3.99 for subsequent months - unless I buy it outright for £60 (& I suspect I will). If considering it, you'll need at least 127GB of space.... No combat, but I really DO like it & recommend it! Might well stream it again 2nite (but I had a pretty late night with it last night.... :) ).
