Dji Mavic Gimbal Error

Gimbal gets stuck on start up, gimbal overload appears on screen and then disapears when gimbal goes back into position. i have checked the gimbal is seated correctly as shown in mavic pilots.

Sorry about the slow reply, I have only just seen your comment. I own the drone, I didn't have any trouble getting it into bali from the UK.

hey man im having this issue too on my new mavic. only had it for 5 days when i found out about it as an error. how is the return procedure?
Jojo Polinga was really good for me, it was returned within 2 weeks of the day i shipped it to them.
Nathan Smith thanks nathan. do they send you out a shipping form? my mavic has been with me for only 5 days with about 10 test flights, nothing major.
Jojo Polinga I contacted dji support on online chat, they created an rma and I received a shipping label to print the next day. took them around 3 days to receive excluding the weekend, and then 4 days from them receiving it to repairing. I had only used mine once so it was in perfect condition, but I received a repaired one that was obviously someone else's. it works perfectly now though and I'm currently travelling bali with it

I see! What did DJI say about the issue? I used the Mavic yesterday with the Litchi App and maybe it just doesn't have such warning but I did not get any.. How was the return process? Do you get a pre-paid label to ship it back within the US or does it go back to China? And did you receive an estimated time to get it back? Thanks!!
Rafael Astolpho I notified them on Thursday of the error, I received an email late Thursday night with my case number and then received my pre paid shipping label Friday morning. I arranged collection the same day and it was picked up a few hours later with it estimated to reach them today, although the tracking does say it has been delivered yet. Mine was sent to the nearest repair centre which is the Netherlands as I am in the uk. I'll update you on their turn around time once I know more! although on dji chat I was told 5-7 excluding shipping. Hope that helps
Thanks a lot! I just got on the chat with their support and was told to do a IMU calibration and then a gimbal one once again. I'll see how that goes, I'm in US, California and I'd hate to have to send it in...
