To manage your civilian career from a career in graffiti has its challenges. I admire Jurne for keeping a balance in both worlds, at least for now. Some of us have to choose one or the other, but I would hope if it’s the civilian career chosen, the person does not look down on the graffiti culture like they’re any better. Never forget where you came from. Respect to all those active and non active writers out there. We all share a common story…

I really like the concept of style expressing an individuals personality. I’d like to think my friends recognize me through my style and vice versa.
What a good dude. His concept of "I don't want to ruin anyone's day" is so contrary to a lot of how I would approach art as a kid. Really appreciate hearing this interview.

i feel you, i did a couple years for graff. i quit bombing cuz i missed skating while locked up
@@CooklanBeats sometimes they document certain writers depending on how bad it is in some cities and if they finally catch you they've got thousands of dollars worth of damage in photo evidence so that can add up to three years. Also if they know who you are then they'll probably wait till you've done enough damage so they can lock you up good
