I wonder why these new EV's all have to to look futuristic with odd lights and try rather successfully to make driving then as hard as possible by loosing the traditional controls whereby everyone once could just jump into any car end drive it rather then having to learn all the controls before starting off? I am considering an EV but what I need is the largest possible boot as I need to carry a Disability buggy that doesn’t tear down for convenience! I also need one seat for a passenger so unless I can find something suitable, I’ll be going for a Land Cruiser.

I've watched several video reviews of the LBX and yours is the only one which is somewhat dismissive of the quality of the interior feel. It is a good, comprehensive review but every other reviewer has lavished praise on the cabin. Just saying.

The all electric mx 30 had a pretty disapointing electric range so they have made this with less than half the electric range,oops now if they still had the 100 mile electric range with this system , success...what ev car makers seem to have forgotten is charging at home is the cheap to run and convenient bit, now i know people will say ,what if you cant charge at home, simple dont get an ev.

You forgot to mention the very much longer charging port time on the ''Across''. The RAV 4 does a full charge in 2.5 hours, the ''Across'' does it in over double that time (I think 5 hour plus plus ???) so longer, much longer to charge up on the Suzuki. The RAV 4/ Across is an accomplished SUV and I would say that the load in the boot is more like 520 litres with seats up. For clarity.

Not a fan of seeing him constantly "sawing" at the steering wheel. If the car needs that much correction then it's not going to be relaxing to drive.

Terrible car, awful ‘quality’ and lots of issues, creaking, terrible gear change, phev version has a dangerous switch between ev and petrol and the entire mg pilot assist system especially lka is beyond dangerous. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on any mg made vehicle, I’m sure one day they will get it right…they just haven’t yet.

What a cabin transformation over the previous model. Inside, that one resembled a cross between a coal scuttle and a hearse; this latest offering has a cheerfully light grey ambiant though this shiny inserts on the doors along with that mass of god awful glossy piano black between the front seats considerably cheapen the overall effect.

if round town local and 30 mpg real world don't irritate you and your wallet then get a late 23 reg for 21-23 k , still 6 yrs warranty do 30-40 k miles over the ownership , then sell on , probably by then 4 yrs old and trading for 10 -12 k with a 25000 miles left or 3 yrs warranty remaining, so a buyer would feel more secure , sit comfortably high up cheap motoring OR go for broke buy a , some would say beautiful EV Porsche tycan for £120,000 and sell it on after 3 years at a 80,000 pound loss , i kid you not.
