If you haven't fixed the crimped hair barbie, you can still boil wash her hair. the crimp doesn't go away since its saran hair.

I thrifted #165 but she only had her 2-piece outfit (and earrings) - when I figured out she was a doll that came with a wheelchair, I regretted not looking around the thrift shop to see if her wheelchair may have been sold separately! I agree with you, Millie is not my favorite Barbie face, although the closed mouth version is better. I also agree that it is so cool that Mattel is creating so many cool dolls that happen to have disabilities, and I love my collection to reflect the world around us all too :) I have a small amount of Fashionistas, their limited articulation annoys me lol I have rebodied some and hope to do a few more in the future. I loved the tribute to the original Black Barbie they made for the Fashionista line, I think she really captures the spirit of the original doll and is a beautiful budget line tribute! :)

Two cute dolls. I have some Fashionistas in my collection, I quite like them to display on shelves. I really like dolls with disabilities. It is a great idea and children love them. I have the wheelchair Barbie you have and I removed her earrings in boiling water. Her outfit is cute. 💗🤍💗

By far one of the best doll line in my opinion, this era is so different from the other lines and i love it!

I missed out on the 1st release date (1/16/2025) on her Birthday......so I knew if I wanted her, I'm going to shell out a little bit more for her....but I did manage to buy one brand new! The thing I remember about Aaliyah when I first seen her is her "INCREDIBLE BEAUTY!"......and her in black leather....OMG!!!!!!! I also remember that fateful day I heard the news that her plane went down.....and she did not survive.....I SO SADDENED from the lose! I also remember her steller performance in "Romeo Must Die" opposite Jet Li and her darker movie " Queen Of The Damned"....circa 2002. I own these movies.....GREAT FLICKS!!!!.... CLASSIC in my opinion!!!! Can't wait to receive her into my "Hot Toys" collection! Hot Toys maybe more detailed that Barbie, but Aaliyah's beauty and aura is truly worthy to stand alongside the elite! This how powerful to me her image is! Loved the review and R.I.P. Congrats on the rare find! I like the hair color and the fishnet leggins, but otherwise, I'm personally not a fan of this doll. Something about the way the lips are sculpted reads as a weird half open mouth expression to me. Potentially, I'd like it better in person? It's nice to see the clothes look good quality and that they're all separate pieces!

I didn't know about that Midge! I did buy the infamous pregnant Midge a few years ago off ebay, and I noticed that this one's dress almost looks like a maternity dress? I wonder if that's intentional, but when you first showed her in the box I wondered if Midge was having another baby, ngl. 😅

I just found another Cali Girl at Savers. I didn't have a Barbie with blond hair and blue eyes and tan skin. I love her highlighted hair.
