Low end golf course then. Sand doesnt freeze as much as dirt so, they dont have lush professional greens there. All dirt. Basically fairway

I played winter golf and got birdies on every hole, then played again the next day and only par'd every hole, thought I was getting worse, went back the next day and got 3 hole in ones (I only play par 5's) and then my friend came along with me and played pretty well, and I set a record long 700 yard drive (had to take a drop) when I dropped it (the ball) it bounced on the frozen ground (winter golf) and rolled straight into the hole.

Any superintendent that would allow golfers or anyone on frozen greens should be fired!
