Dr. Karsy is a neurosurgeon who treats tumor, spine, and vascular pathologies through minimally-invasive endoscopic and traditional, open microsurgical approaches. He works with a large multi-disciplinary team that consists of neuroradiologists, neuropathologists, neuroophthalmologists, neuroendocrinologists, and specialized otolaryngology (ENT) cancer surgeons to ensure the best treatment outcomes. Dr. Karsy has experience with radiosurgery in a variety of complex cranial pathologies. His research interests are in improving health care outcomes, novel surgical approaches, and better molecular characterization of tumors.

This is an expanded, endonasal transsphenoidal transcavernous approach for resection of a recurrent, previously irradiated ACTH-secreting pituitary adenoma. The endonasal approach allowed safer access to the lateral cavernous sinus to resect the tumor, obtain specimen for pathology, and achieve a good outcome for the patient.

Hi, there is incorrect info at 7.45. The table shows when disease is positive and test negative, type 1 is stated. Should be vice versa right?
