I am a bit late on this video, but I wonder, how you scroll through the techniques. It does not work, when I try it in Notion 6. I can only click on the arrows to get up or down and this takes a lot of time. Is there any key, you have to press additionally? Btw, I can scroll normally in the score view, so it should not be a problem with the mouse. Maybe Win10?

We need a lot more videos on Custom Rules, like a multi Part in depth series or something on it. We also need videos showing how it's used with various samplers like Kontakt, Sampletank, etc. There is VERY LITTLE information about Custom Rules out there apart from the brief guide I found on the Presonus website and a forum that is generally pretty quiet. Also, I really appreciate that the audio on this video is a little louder than all the previous Notion videos. It would have been better to use an actual direct microphone because it sounds like this guy is using the built in microphone on his laptop.. unfortunately I found that this was the case for every single Notion video out there. It is pretty frustrating when you have to strain to hear what the guy is saying in a tutorial video and the quality isn't great. Come on, it's 2015! And isn't Presonus an audio based company?

The program far outclasses these tutorials. Some actual demonstration would be helpful, but I must say that Notion for ipad is very intuitive on its own without tutorials. Just start using it; you'll teach yourself more than in any video.

Here's the deal - I will not purchase the app because the instruction in these tutorial videos is not good. A real pain to the ears will all those ums and unclear description. Maybe a script and some editing would be beneficial. I'm sure Josh is a real nice fellow but narrating is perhaps not his forte. Probably so nice and maybe sensitive, that no one wants to tell him. Sorry, dude.

A program so good, with so many modern functions and has no simple function to extract parts? Someone can tell me if there is option? Please! A bit disappointing, I was expecting version 4 to get rid of some of these over programming features e.g "Rules". I am one step away from buying it though... But it's still missing the ability to customize shortcuts, a must if you expect people to transition to your software. It also needs a dedicated keyswitch staff i.e. some kind of special clef that allows you to go low enough or high enough without so many extra ledger lines.

I have a question about key signatures........ When I put different instruments in different key signatures (like G for an Alto Sax while having C for a Trumpet, etc.), they sound different. But when I put the same key signature for two different instruments (Like having C major for both a Flute and a Clarinet), they sound the same........ Help!

Guys, you realize there's no evaluation version of this software, right? This video is the closest thing we have to a feeling for the program -- and as far as training videos go, this one is mildly helpful -- it feels improvised, as if there was no thought behind making it.
