      Thank you so much! I'm a total neophyte to photo apps. In fact, I was hoping I could copy and paste your template onto photos - haha. While not a professional photographer, I hope to get there. In the meantime , I am making unique underwater photo creations. A gallery owner is interested in a show, but I had to postpone due to personal reasons, so I decided to post to FB, my debut so to speak. After the second one, a musician friend wrote to say, "Use a watermark! These are going to be stolen." Do I have to use your template in Adobe Photoshop? Will it work in other photo editing apps?

    • @robinfreeman9109

      Good day. Thank you for the url! Thought I sent this yesterday but no sign of it. I'm not a professional photographer, but hope to get there. In the meantime, I am working on some unique underwater photo creations. A gallery owner wants me to do a show, but I've had to put that off for personal reasons. I want my stuff to be seen so posted a couple to FB. A musician friend wrote to say, "You need to watermark these! They will be stolen." So here I am. Do you know if your template will work in Adobe Photoshop Express (free)? Or Gimp (with which I have limited experience) or other editing apps?

    • @aniaphotouk
      @aniaphotouk 8 місяців тому

      @@robinfreeman9109 Hi Robin, this sounds very interesting, the underwater creations. I use this type of watermarks when I send them over , but not so much when I want to show my work online. I would change size and resolution (to 72dpi) and put maybe more discrete watermark/logo on for facebook. The sad truth is that once you put things online they potentially could be stolen and resold, used. We don't have much impact once the work is out there. It's worth weighing out if its worth it to get your work out there or keep it hidden and safe. Templte will work with any software that allows use of layers. I never used Adobe Photoshop Express myself, but after quick google they have option of layers, so you should be OK. Gimp also should work ok, as they use layers.

      Ania, thank you for being so generous with your expertise and advice!! If only the world was filled with more yous rather than those that are stealing and trying to get by with little to no effort. I will use your suggestion for FB. I want to get my work seen to try generate interest in a future show and/or Etsy site. 🌺

    I watched your video really well and your blending the head to the background is so unique and awesome. But It looks like the head size is a little bit small compared to the body and hand size. This is just my opinion. You don't have to engrave it.

    Thank for the advice an it worked perfectly except for one small thing. I want the image a different size than the back ground , when I place the texture on top it resizes the image to match the background. How do I keep my image a set size where it will not change. Thank you. If you have time I would appreciate your help. xoxo

    • @aniaphotouk
      @aniaphotouk 3 роки тому

      Gary, once you place texture it should not alter your main layer. I would place texture then transform that layer ( texture one) CTR or command ( for Mac) +t and drag that layer to size, hit ok. Basically adjust that texture to the main layer, to your original image. I hope that's helpful and I hope I understood correctly what you meant. Please feel free to ask , I'm very happy to help :)
