I loved the movie, but I'm also obsessed with the first one. I wanna mention that the shitty CGI had the same feel as the stop motion scenes Tim Burton is known to use. That was his thing but nowadays, no one appreciates that kind of movies anymore. I think that's why his movies haven't been up to his own standards, forget ours.
Beetlejuice's wife also looked like the Corpse Bride. Again, Tim Burton's art style is prominent.
I'm surprised you actually like the Beetlejuice films knowing how much your afraid for horror themed things lol
Tim Burton? Love his art, not in terms of movies only...and, I was afraid of this movie and Nightmare before Christmas as a child. Lol terrified.

I enjoyed this one a good bit. A little let down that Geena Davis didn’t make a cameo. I felt like this one had more of a story element to it than the original. And I’m super glad Beetlejuice had more of a prominent role in this one too.
@@mike_loves_scary_stuff a Geena Davis cameo would of been a nice touch. I felt like Beetlejuice was soft in this one. He wasn't as edgy like in the first one, but I still enjoyed him lol.
@@mike_loves_scary_stuff I loved how much screen time Beetlejuice had as well! His comedy made it really fun this time around. The story was definitely action packed too!
Agreed. Liked the movie. Definitely could have slowed things down to let moments marinate. Sand worms were total cop out.

@@spookynerdclub yah. Maybe simplified the Willem Dafoe stuff. On another note, Danny Elfman soundtrack was awesome. Also really loved the Italian neorealism references.
@@Strangerthang87 Yeah the soundtrack was solid. I was definitely better than I anticipated, and I'm not really a fan of Burton films but I don't mind the Beetlejuice films.
@@Strangerthang87 definitely needed more time with certain story points, but I liked it overall, it was fun!

God this episode is such a banger! One of the best in the series, and it was made in Season 1! How rare is that? Joey Pants was on fire in this episode! I'd love to see a modern update on it just to see what would be changed between then and now.
