picked up a 65 D6B outa west Virginia a mth ago 2:05 for 15k with 2 root rakes plus 1500 to haul back to ohio..Been on pond job ..put over 25 hrs on it and what a beast..Had an injector spitting , put trans fluid and 2 cycle oil in fuel damn near fixed it..has just over 4k hrs and used on homestead for the past 30 yrs ..straight piped and loud as ever😅😅
About a year ago I went to look at a "B" series that was up for sale. Once I had it started, I put the tractor in gear and started to ease the main clutch lever back. I instantly noted that one track wasn't moving at all: instant sale killer. The tractor had been sitting too long. Older 9U's and "B" series tractors in decent, running condition are hard to come by in my region.
