DESTINY OF THE PLANET OF THE APES-Rugh Teaser
Beautiful, thank you.
That is the best tribute of Leonard Nimoy I have ever watched, and I've watched a lot. RIP LEONARD until we meet in heaven.
Just beautiful!
This is fantastic! This movie is such a classic. It paved the way for so many movies to come and should not be forgotten. Even with the modern remakes I still prefer the original. I saw it as a boy in the early 70's and it blew my young mind away. It was so far ahead of its time! no pun intended. Will we eventually get to see the finished product? This is really something to look forward to. Thank You, the trailer was incredible!
"We saw the rim of the Earth...melt..."
I know what the human condition is. We're millions of years old, we might continue for millions more. But all of us have found ourselves holding onto something, a set of rules, societies, emotions, objects, places, pieces of knowledge, pleasures, habits, cultures, systems, approvals, adventures... Why? Because by holding onto them we can say firmly "I know what I am!" And because we're scared that if we let those things go... the uncertainty of what we would then be would make us quake to dust. To be human is to have human DNA. To be a person is to be whatever you choose to hold onto and let go off makes you be. We're all born human. To "live long and prosper", we must be people.
My Dad passed a few months ago. He was suffering from cancer, but also dementia. I bonded more with my Mom; I guess just about all of us bond more with one parent than the other. So I regret not having talked more with him. They think it strange that Vulcans, with their longer lifespans, could fail to fully relate to their parents or children, but I'm sure that we could live twice as long and still not understand each other.
Sure do miss him.
The day Leonard Nimoy passed away, it was the last time I spoke to my father on the phone. I was in New York, he was in California. Two days later, I got a call from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department that they found my father's body. I experienced a double loss those two days.
the best of both
Did you ever get to finish this? Would love to watch
Thanks for the heart warming video. And thank you Mr. Nimoy! RIP
The strains of ' Amazing Grace ' during this chokes me up, damn you. I hope you're happy.
He was such an amazing actor... And a wonderful human being. I was so glad to have met him !!!! 🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖
RIP Leanord Nimoy😟🥺😥😢😭😭😭😭
I think Spock is one of the most Loved characters ever. Only a 3 year series and look at the effect it has had on culture. Look at how people still love him.
Leonard Nimoy was master class as Spock, the man split between the worlds of Humans and Vulcans, loved and beloved in equal measure. He whose logic and occasional dives into Human whimsy delighted us - and endeared him to us - over and over again. Sarek was fiercely proud of Spock, and all he had accomplished, but his logic forbade him to share this with his son. While they had their differences, they loved each other, and in that last encounter with Picard, Spock felt his father’s affection for him, and just how much he meant to him. Watching Sarek struggle with illness in his last appearance on Star Trek was truly heart wrenching. Nobody but Mark Lenard could have done the role of Sarek justice. Elegant, imperious, logical. RIP Leonard, and Mark...May you both rest among the stars, and know that you are loved and missed.
Excelente vídeo
As to Spocks emotion during the meld with Picard. It’s many fold, I’m sure. Vulcans have emotions that they suppress..Spock is also half human.. after so many years of tension between he and his father I’m sure to see the extent to which his father “felt” for him was warming and a relief.. but not only that he was taken a back at the news of Sareks death.. he had to turn away. Just as he closed his eyes when in Wrath Of Kahn Scotty showed up with his dead nephew. I agree with the notion also that he was hot with Sareks emotions as well as any Picard felt.. (remember he admired Sarek too. Also had issues with Maurice Picard his father. So as an actor It would have been bad form for Mr. Nimoy not to show emotion… just as I’m sure Picard showed happiness to bestow this final gift of peace to both Sarek and Spock..
Quite lovley
For 30 years (35 now), Spock was my idol. In my teenage years, I went so far to learning to lift a single eyebrow whenever I felt "curious" or "uncertain" about things I considered questionable. When Leonard Nimoy died, I felt a part of me die because he was a part of my childhood. I, regrettably, only could relate to my own parents through my love of Star Trek. Leonard Nimoy will always have a special place in my heart, even though I never had the honor of meeting him in person. I thank you, Leonard, for bringing life to a character that I, among many, can relate to. Especially in my case, where I have the most difficulty in relating to others, even to this day. May you continue to Rest In Peace and may your iconic Character continue 🖖 LLAP
Que d’émotions, en regardant toutes ces scènes emblématiques de Spock 50 ans d’aventures dans la franchise Star Trek. Les yeux plein de larmes , je suis ébloui. Merci monsieur Nimoy de nous avoir tant donné. 🖖
Live long and prosper Spock, Scotty 1 to Beam up
I'm crying 😢
When spock died.... Cried my ass off at 29 years old. A toast to absent loved ones everybody. Stay strong, live long and prosper with peace.
He will be missed always, We all wonder what we are here for. What is our purpose? We will most likely never know. LLAP 🖖🏻
Beautiful tribute. ❤ 🖖
Rest in Peace and Power Leonard Nimoy, we all miss you
Rest in peace Leonard Nimoy” Commander first officer science officer Spock” you we will be missed.
Spock was like a father to me when my own father was gone, I saw Logic as a firm basis for my character. When Leonard Nimoy passed I felt like I lost a Father figure. His Legacy will never be forgotten . . .
3:57 what Spock feels right here is something many of us won’t when our mothers, brothers, friends, loved ones are gone. Say what you need to say now. Express what you need to express.
Why is it that _every time_ I watch a video like this, I feel like onion-cutting ninjas have sneaked into my apartment? 😎🖖
Well done!!!! 👍👍
One of the best actors of all time.
Casting Leonard Nimoy as Mr Spock was logical
awesome tribute ! thank you
If Spock embraced his human side, he would have been a selfish asshole.
So grateful and awe of the Spock and goes equally of Lenord Nimoy to portray a character never before seen. That we have this to enjoy. That if he didn't take the role, we'd never would have this marvelous man and character that touched so many very deeply. " It was better to have Mr. Nimoy and Spock, then to never have had at all" 🖖
Yy yo lloro por ti Spock
Very cool...
Dude this is awesome.
Very fitting tribute!
As we say in Germany: vallah ich heul
4:40 damn... that hurt , and ah don't have the full Why, of it
This tribute video is awesome. It captures everything about the character, and the man who brought him to life so well. Live long and prosper, fellow Trek fans 🖖
