It’s been a little while since marc’s passing Iam sure his loss is always felt, we just returned from the release of The Alpinist not knowing the ending….. we were both crushed and saddened but your loss, weeping as we left the theatre, but better for knowing his life and triumphs. As his mom stated at his memorial, it was where he wanted to be, knowing the risk but making his life the best it could be and motivating others to take on challenges in their life. Thank u for sharing your time with him. ❤️

@@derhackfleischhassendezerh9934 Leider gibt es keine laut Produktionsfirma, die Dame sagte aber, sie wolle nochmal nachfragen, nach ihrem Urlaub - hab sie soeben daran erinnert ;-)
Sowas aber auch: Wir haben von der Produktionsfirma nun ein Gratisexemplar der beiden Folgen des Films auf DVD bekommen! Einer/Eine von euch beiden kann sie haben - innerhalb Österreichs schicken wir sie gratis zu! Allerdings: Offenbar gibt es jetzt auch beide Folgen auf ARTE!

this is still so amazing i see why people say the free run was harder but still 2800ft is no joke and it will forever go down as being the second greatest free solo climb of all time RIP brother you are a true legend
Actually I dont think you can even call it that as it has a different kind of difficulty. Just the lenght makes it exceptionally tough for free solo and really trumps free run in that regard. I dont think we should rate them at all. Auer at Weg durch den Fisch and Honnold are exceptional on their own.
@@listrahtes Yes. And more: Auer climbed right away (he knew the way the day before by rappelling), while Hannold climbed the Freerider several times using equipment until he was sure to climb without a rope and shoot the documentary.
