21:34 - 42% of LGBTQ youth have considered suicide in the past year; they are 4 x as likely to attempt suicide than their non-LGBTQ peers. When considering transgender and nonbinary youth, the % is much higher. However, having even one accepting adult in their lives reduces suicide by 40%. (data from Trevor Project) The key word is accepting, not loving - accepting them for who they are makes the difference, not trying to "love" and then attempt to convince them they need changing. Children who underwent attempted conversion therapy were "twice as likely to report having attempted suicide and more than 2.5 times as likely to report multiple suicide attempts in the past year" (Journal of Public Health 2020). LGBTQ people may be depressed and suicidal , yes, but not because they need changing, but because they are made to feel unworthy, rejected and unloved by God and their fellow humans.

20:43 "They" say the number one contributing factor to same sex attraction is a family of origin including an emotionally distant or abusive father ? Who is they? I see this in no scientific or medical research. Granted, parents can become abusive and emotionally distant AFTER it becomes clear that they have a child who is not heterosexual - that data is very clear. It's a question of which came first.
