@@TheDudeCubed In some ways you are correct, but overall, i’ll have to disagree. His playstyle is very simple and can be used nearly anywhere. It’s Patriots severe lack of utility that makes him incompetent in most areas of the game that have added abilities to defenders. His rotation isn’t the problem, it’s his lack of usefulness 💯

@@BattleWarriar Yeah I mostly feel the same way. Can only use him for fights that are mostly basic but will always try to bring him if he’s even just a tiny bit useful. He definitely works for Red Skull but he’s bad for attuma due to how much thorns damage he will take.

@@mcocdropshot that’s actually why I like him for attuma, because he constantly heals from his resolve it mitigates the thorns significantly. Of course I’d prefer one of my champs that doesn’t take the damage in the first place, but if I need to take the thorns, I prefer it be with patriot so I can heal some of it back

@@BattleWarriar That’s very true. It’s not like I haven’t used Patriot to fight attuma’s in BG’s when I don’t have a counter… but he really isn’t ideal. Like you said though, he’s better than most for Attuma.

Yeah, he isn’t exactly ‘mid’, but his severe lack of utility for anyone outside of Photon makes him very close to mid. He’s just to fun to play imo. He needs guaranteed crits in his SP2 at max ramp and a lot more utility. Let’s hope that his buff adds these things bro 💯

Yeah bro, he’s definitely better than people treat him. Patriot just really lacks utility and needs his SP2 to be guaranteed crits at max ramp. I think both Patriot and Leader should have been buffed. Patriot is very fun to play though, I can’t wait to see what they do with him in the rework 💯

His basic attack damage once ramped is honestly VERY good. But Patriot needs a lot more utility…. and guaranteed crits on his SP2 at max ramp wouldn’t hurt either imo.

I have a rank 2 patriot lol, took him up after being surprised at how hard he can actually hit.

Don’t underestimate guillotine’s crazy degen from the synergies. Also, dkg ramped up is insane. Especially, when you pause those incinerates.
