The calibrated skulk sensor shines its brightest when it comes to map making. Also I think it should hardpower surrounding blocks. So you can get a signal even when it’s surrounded so placing water is easier.

Beginning to, but not finishing eating food will activate 3, but fully eating the item will activate 3 and 8, favoring 8 if you only use one sensor

actualy, item interactions isnt just throwing, it's everything done by items in hand, like: brushing, unzooming with a spyglass, priming a crossbow, blowing in a goat horn, unshielding, ... etc; tho, probably because a lot of items borrow code from all over the place, what activates the sensor isnt super consistant, exemple: brushs, shields and spyglasses only get detected when you release the click, but goat horns get detected when the horn is blown and ALSO when you release the click just like the others, it's weird stuff (i should file a bug report but am too lazy)
