This dude was thinking with his dip stick 😮
Nicely done mate. Many thanks.
Need to remove one letter and put a new one as the paint on the letter pealed off
such lies,
you are an id, no way oil needs to be changed 3000 miles, that's from 50 years ago, and all you have to do is look at your manual. it's so sad that there's people like you on the internet providing absolute terrible information. i change my oil every 20k whether it needs it or not. please go away. you know nothing and you are terrible
Thanks for the video. Here in Texas is 98 degrees; I didn't need the heat gun at all.
Removing model name on rear, makes it harder for any witnesses to identify my vehicle.
Excellent video.
I’ve seen a ton of these types of videos but very few mention the oil burning in the cylinders and the low oil due to the new longer change intervals. Thank you for bringing that to light. This is probably the best oil change advice video I’ve seen on UA-cam.
Thanks. The background music is horrible and distracting though!
Saw it off with fishing line. Remove residual adhesive with your thumb. Clean with IPA…done.
After taking off the badges, Nail varnish remover (Acetone) will remove the adhesive just as effective.
Pull that critter off???!!
Worked perfectly! Thanks 😊
Note: If you have a Honda, most likely you will see dark oil after driving on a fresh oil change, it’s just a Honda thing Just make sure to change your oil regardless of vehicle at 3,000-5,000 miles, along with filter, but also make sure to get a good filter like Mobil 1 (cheap at Walmart) that will last more than 3,000 miles because most don’t
If I try to use that eraser wheel it's going to be all bad... It's got to be a different way.
Which drill setting? I’m assuming 1 🤷♂️
Good thing you're wearing all white. I think I would talk with management about changing the color
Straight to the point, thank you
I be hearing these things whine whill i gap them in my m4 xdrive all the time. 😂
Uh oh someone has anger towards dodge. I’m here for you, please let all the anger out. How dare these hellcats exists. Shame on dodge Chrysler fiat
Yeah, I hate having a warm thumb.
Fishing line works good too.
Just put a coat of olive oil on the adhesive. Then wait 5-10 minutes. Most of it will wipe right off. Do it again if necessary.
Great video, direct and perfectly done!
*Goo Gone will remove the adhesive better than heat.* Apply, give it a minute, and wipe off adhesive.
Some jack ass put a GT emblem on a mustang I just bought. It's an Ecoboost. Can't wait to remove the GT and put the horse emblem back on there
i checked my car's oil level before starting it in the morning and it was well above full level, it's been like this for months, didn't get any errors or problems, did i measure right , should i measure after turning on the engine?
Goo gone, and using painters tap and some rags to catch the goo gone from dropping down to the bumper. Little elbow grease with microfiber towel. After, soap and water and a sponge to clean up the goo gone. Then finish it with whatever wax you use.
What if my oil light comes on every 500 miles or so? And then it turns off… and on… and off… etc.
I did exactly as he did on this video. Bought the eraser for about $7 on Amazon. Everything went perfectly. Btw, I used a hair dryer. Thanks for the vid!
I bought a car at 8k km mileage, now it is 10k km mileage, i asked the oil expert if I need to change, by manual check with dipstick it says its color is good, not sticky, not thick. But this is a new engine it will always show this condition of oil, so just change engine oil after 5k km , is this statement correct?
man i used to never care about these stuff when i was still using the family/parents car... but when i got my own car any small scratch and deep dirts i see triggers my OCD 😅
And sometimes the Thumbnail is all you need
This could be AMMO NYC's twin brother.
So technically I can use pencil eraser to scrape off the adhesive?
Thank you for the information.
I’m a single woman who just got a new car and never had any males in my life to show me these things and I’m ashamed I don’t know these things so thank you!
I’m here so I can but the hummer emblem on my Prius
I would use goof off or goo gone
take 0off that badge and lets GOOOOOO
Great instructions, thanks. Do you observe the toning of paint difference under the badges and outside? Or is the color 100% accurate everywhere? Thanks.
Funny how younger people blaming their “dad”, or lack of a dad, for not showing them the oil…… the point is, today’s youngest generation - it’s always someone else’s fault……
Hey, it’s been 5k miles since my last full synthetic oil change. I checked my oil today and it’s very light yellow above both dots. Ik they say to get it changed every 5-10k miles, but Idk. Why does it look good then? It’s a Toyota btw one of the newer models. Idk if that helps cuz I’m not an expert. Every time I try to seek out expert opinions, they try to get me to buy services I don’t really need, so that’s why I’m unsure about this. Should I get it changed anyways?
Would soap and water work for the res left from the emblem?
Question on 2014 Nissan Sentra I've been very closely watching my oil because I've had the catalytic converter go out twice in a year and this one needs to be replaced again. Check engine light P0420. I'm shopping for a new car now because this car has had so many big issues I just can't continue to invest in it. I don't know how much time it has left, not long I'm sure. The burning smell, black residue on the back of the car, and now louder sounds coming from the engine feel like I'm hearing all the alarms go off on a patient slipping away. I just need the car to last 4-8 more weeks and I'll be in a new car and I will donate it for scrap parts. My question is when I checked the oil tonight I feel like I smell gas on the napkin I wiped the dipstick on. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me but I'm so sure I'm smelling gas. Obviously, I'm not a mechanic so maybe the answer is "that's perfectly normal" but i don't think so, so I have to ask. Sorry this is so long. I hope you have time to read and answer. And please any other responses, please be kind. This has been the most stressful situation just swinging from one day into the next day hoping it lasts a little bit longer.
Great Job....Helped me out on my 2023 Ford Explorer
Thank you for the video.
will it cause issues if oil is above the max fill line?
It depends.. if it's alittle ( one cm above no problem )
Umm i can see people fkin up their pain with this, yall just get the floss and goo gone and you are set LMAO, also use the green bottle for like tree sap that shit will have this sparkly clean. No need to heat that up or nothing just slowly with a rag and use a plastic trim opener and those letters will fling right off.
Panel wipe is much easier
