@HaasesHighlife my main question is how you make the powderkeg motor and the python pro connect, what the connector is called coming off of the powderkeg motor, and what the connector is for the wire to plug into the python pro. I want to make my own wires so the wires are better to manage.

Is the powderkeg waterproof, I'm wanting to do a 100% metal capra, and have a basher/crawler/mudding truck, with decent top end.

@@y-it-rides6214 if you want waterproof get the new Hobbywing fusion 1/16 motor is hands down gotta be the best option ever to come to the UTB18 just came out the other day I'm getting one asap lol and it's 3000kv instead of the 28000 kn powderkeg and no the powder leg is not waterproof it worked really good the first like month of water abuse and now it shuts down as soon as I hit water not sure if the eac failed or the motor but Iould 100 percent go with the new Hobbywing motor for it would be way better than mine lol

@@y-it-rides6214 I have the wire you need and I'm not using it but I have no idea what it's called I searched and furitek doesn't sell it separately only with the utb combo so that's stupid but I also use to use the old furitek setup the one with the motor that's hook right into the python pro I use to run it on 4s and and it was stupid powerful lol but just didn't crawl well I highly recommend the Hobbywing fusion 1/16 that's came out for use soon I get one I'll make a vid too

@@nasaw7798 the stock battery was a 600 mah I believe I still use it with my brushless setup and get about 30 plus mins of run time hope that helps

@@nasaw7798 you are correct actually it's only a 380 that comes with but I've been using the 600 mah that came with the furitek fury wagon and fms sells them as well they sell them on hobbyplus website a pulse version of them the 600 mags fit perfect for a 30 plus min runtime of I remember correctly at all the stock was like 15 to 20 mins runtime if it 30 or so with the stock brushed setup very cheap batteries to stock up on unless going brushless I use a 309mah spectrum battery

@@LMH710 not really at all that day was the most I've had it wet I 100% submerged it like 4 times it ran right thru it and made it out of the trails let it dry out for a day and ran it again seemed to work fine with the only problem being I had one instant where it seemed like it went into low voltage like battery dead but the servo wouldn't work either lasted like 2 seconds then started working again it had never done that before the submerges but could have been random unfortunately I never ran it again with those electronics after that and converted to brushless hope this help by the way I've ran this car at the creek for over 50miles since I've had it the servo does great with water and as long as you don't submerg the ESC should always be fine hope any of that helps!! I am running the furitek cedar because it’s waterproof with a python pro esc I have the venom in my fx118 but haven’t really got it wet or dirty yet to know if it handles it or not hope that helps

@@HaasesHighlife yea i just picked up the cr18p evo pro brushless version it’s my first nice rc. Currently scared to death on tearing up motors especially the outrunners. Do you by chance know if all the motors can be used interchangeably with their escs?

@@heneric that's Great your gonna love it the Evo is a beast the gears have outlasted 1/10 scales I have still beating mine up with minor issues yes you should be able to get upgrade to any motor with your ESC I believw you'd need the same motor as me being a 2 speed you have to get the cedar motor with the trx4m pinion on it for the 2 speed transmission you could probably get away with running any motor with that pinion keep on mind bigger outrunner motors may hit the links my cedar motor ( inrunner and waterproof) is still going strong hope all that helps if you have any more qu6just ask all furitek motor plus for small small are the same aka any motor should work perfectly

@@HaasesHighlife if your running the cedar on your cr18p evo how does that fit in with the stock transmission. Also is there a noticeable difference between the python pro and the lizard pro?

@@heneric it fits fine with stock trans was super easy to bolt up once transmission was out the thing with the Evo pro is that you have to basically remove the shift servo to disconnect the shift linkage a lil bit of a pain but a tip instead of trying to you pliers to get the shift linkage separated as I mentioned before you'd need a cedar with a trx4m pinion on it I believe it's a 15th they sell the smother with the pinion already on it. Not a noticeable difference but I do feel like it seems slightly more pouchy with the python pro for some reason and also after doing testing with both with water the python pro holds up much better I've had many shut downs with lizard pro with lots of water but they always turn back on later lol the python doesn't ever really seemed to be phased by much same with the cedar on 3s it's stupid fast I run 2s most the time unless I wanna fling mud or rip around hill climbing and stuff. If you come up with any more questions I'll be here hope that helps

They are 133mm rear lower axial wraith links 110mm uppers rear off eBay injora brand and Dlux 10mm links up front to get a 10.25 total wheel base hope that help

I believe it’s a mini Capra so 1/18 scale, although, they’re huge for a 1/18.

I was looking at putting a pancake motor in it.. also might not do the bouncer. Kinda looking at the cheat code v2 chassis build.

I used axial Capra shock mounts from Amazon then put one screw in line with the old shock holes and then I put another screw up to the left of the new holes under a frame rail and it locked it in there strong 90mm desert lizard shocks and now it has 110mm upper links and 133mm lower links in rear shocks work amazing now and ride hight is nice and low I then recently put dlux fab high clearance links from the rear on the front and now she's sitting at a lovely 10.25 wheel base just won a comp Sunday with her I'll link the shock mounts below hope any of that helps
