The Lord of the Rings - Spring at Bag End Ambience (4K) - The Shadow of the Past
Welcome back to Middle Earth, and the peaceful land of the Shire. It is 13 April of the year T.A. 3018 and we find ourselves in the study of Bag End. On this fine spring morning Gandalf has just returned after a nine year absence and is telling Frodo of his travels, the history of the Rings of Power, and what he has learned of how the One Ring came to be in Frodo's possession. This very day marks the beginnings of a plan to do something about it. One might feel these are heavy subjects for such a lovely setting, but you are welcome to stay awhile and enjoy the sounds of the crackling fireplace, a windy spring morning, and Sam happily cutting the grass outside the open windows.

Thank you! In hindsight, I wish I’d made that ladder happen more than once :) Yes! I’ve long had a Fangorn/Derndingle scene on the list. It’s just one that I find really tricky to get right. I cycle back to it from time to time to see if I feel better about it. That’s kind of the way of it for me. ❤️

Crazy to think that in the movie it was Merry and Pippin throwing rocks into the water, and Aragorn telling them to stop, while in the book it was Boromir throwing a rock into the water, with Frodo telling Boromir to stop.
