the only form of role lock is a 3 max 1 minimum thing. No separate queues, you’ll still only have 1 rank, but you need at least 1 of every role and no more than 3 of every role.

you cater by also making GOOD decisions about the game, look at helldivers who literally was about to dig its own grave but eventually opted out of it, bending the knee to the mass public SAVED THAT GAME the games you're making an example of are nacked by shitty companies who are husks of what they used to be decades ago

Nah but playing iron man with hulk is one of the most enjoyable things in this game.

It's definitely more about the microtransactions than catering to either casual or pro player.

What's a healer? We don't have those in this game.

Marvel is about craziness. There are a lot of homage to marvel fighting games. Locking to specific roles will make the game boring. People will evolve and make some crazy combinations just give it some time. There maybe some combos now that break traditional roles. People sit in the lad and cook crazy stuff up 😂. In a year we will see how the game is played.

Aiming at the feet with the bubble is a great tip. I find myself trying to aim for the environment around em but a slight step off and i'm healing a wall two miles away

You can press f2 in game to see all the diffrent team up stat boosts.

It does you see it at the bottom left when the team up is active. This is standard across all team ups one character gets an ability or perk and the other one receives a stat buff. 15% more healing, 20% more damage, and 150 bonus health.

Another point I want to make is there are health refills all over the place. I don’t worry about who my healers. I play Thor because I enjoy him. I looked at high level play and NOBODY was on the ground. Every one was on high points and it made me think I was doing everything wrong! Damn…

I think this game is completely different from overwatch. I come from fighting games too and this game is very much like a fighting game in a crazy way, lol. The way this game is playing will change. It’s a shooter but with a lot of melee.

You know u can play whoever u want in quick play right ? Hell u can do that in training vs ai if u want . And if there is 5duelest , who care , pick the one u want play U win? , good , u lost ? bite the bullet and queue to the next match And do yourself a favor Dont bother with rank I see what u mean and me too i use and always played support on ow coz of the queue time I even main medic / engi in team fortress 2 , but am cool with that , usually people are chill there

I completely agree with this. When I try to play as my favorite character Hulk I get blamed for the team losing in the character select screen. The game hasn’t even started yet and people are already blaming me for throwing their game.

I think the worst part about it if your team is cheeks and your constantly having to switch strategist only for it to back fire on you because your cheeks as a strategist makes it 10x worse and you still end up losing because people only wanna play duelist or spider man going extra negative. If this game was more casual it would be game of the year just saying but as it is right now being catered to competitive play makes it not as fun as it should be

I think one of the great things about Rivals is that most characters in all roles have some carry potential. I enjoy all roles, so I don't mind filling because I have characters I enjoy in all roles, but I fully support not switching just because no one else will. If you want to play someone, play them, That's how this game is designed. It's good to have a variety of characters you wanna play in different roles, but also there's a range of characters for different team comps too. Not got enough strategists? Play someone with enough mobility to escape to healthpacks or play someone who has self sustain. Got no vanguards? Either remove theirs (wolverine) or pick a character that isn't relying on that space, like a flanker. I think people gotta learn to work with what they got in this game rather than expecting everyone else to cater to them, "Main character syndrome" as I call it. Most team comps CAN work, if everyone works together in this game, you just gotta adapt your strategy of how you play to the situation you're in.

I’ve only played a few games with him, but i mainly focus on supporting my team, and just try to clean up weak targets/ help focus fire when there’s no healing to do. I’ve been pretty lucky to have WS and Punisher in all the games I’ve used him in, the three of them work together so well.

Just wanna clarify Mantis' E dmg boosts allies not movement. Her ult does movement boost though.
