Hello, you need goggles and I recommend Goggles 2 from DJI if you get an O3 version drone. Also a controller compatible with the chosen receiver (ELRS / Crossfire). I recommend crossfire and a Tango 2 controller or Tango 2 Pro. Also batteries 4S 700-800mAh under 70 grams and a charger. Check out the HOTA chargers. that’s exactly what I did. The problem is I did not made eye contact with it fast enough and the throttle I gave was not enough so I heard it crashed before being able to recover anything.

@@GoeFPV my friends found my 3 inch toothpick a week after I lost it. But there is such a place, strangers do not go there, I just searched for 2 days, and it deviated from the trajectory and fell in another place, and there are not such thickets as you showed in the end of the video)) after that I always put a buzzer on all the drones that I fly on the street)

the most important thing is ESC to be powerful enough to carry the motor load and also the FC is small and low weight, but has enough features like pit mode. If you go digital video then you need to consider this when you buy the flight controller. Most of them provide plug and play interfaces for digital systems through a connector.

hello, BF 4.4 does not support AT35 chips. Make sure you use the BF 4.5 firmware and the compatible configurator version. A new configurator version was released at the same time with BF 4.5 to accommodate the changes. If the configurator is not compatible you will get into problems. What issues are you facing?

@@GoeFPV When I used the factory default BF 4.5, I had a problem when I wanted to arm it when the words dshort_telem appeared in the OSD glasses. and when I upgraded to bf 4.5.1 the gps in the osd didn't appear

I didn’t have such issues. Make sure you select the correct board when flashing the firmware. Other than this I really don’t know what advice to give you. Please let me know if you find the solution or how you solved the problem for others to learn from your experience as well.

I just try to motivate people to join the hobby and I did my best. Not everyone has enough money to get to the real thing straight away and there are also cases when people are not ready to risk all in from the beginning. This is a more risk managed starting solution and also I think it’s the best way to start. Everyone has its own opinion and this is mine.

Just get a small drone and fly it I did that and got a 5" 6s from market place and ripping it around now in acro I never used a simulator. Only been flying a couple months now .

That’s true, I missed pointing this out, but I think most 4 in 1 radios allows you to install external modules. Probably this is where everyone ends if not buying a dedicated controller from the beginning. Thanks for pointing this out 🙏.

hello, sure these are very important factors, but assuming you already have an UAV operator license you already know navigation and weather considerations involved in a flight. Regarding the packet rate, and interferences, these are factors that each has to decide if it’s worth the risk or if the setup is ready for a failsafe. I always keep an eye in the signal strength and I’m flying with a margin of error to leave room for a failsafe event.

it definitely does not work in complete darkness, but I flew the O3 at some indoor parties where only party lights were on and I had no issues with that. I would go with the O3
