Audio Book (Shaped by the Universe: Beyond the Geometry of Reality )
Переглядів 1619 годин тому
Geometry governs the universe, shaping not only the physical laws that hold everything together but also the evolution of life and civilizations. On Earth, we are accustomed to living on a spherical planet, where gravity, ecosystems, and human societies have developed in harmony with the forces dictated by this shape. This familiar geometry creates predictable systems - flowing rivers, weather ...
Audiobook ( Timelines Intertwined: Persia, Europe, and the Making of the Modern World )
Переглядів 2421 годину тому
The 17th century was a time of extraordinary political, intellectual, and technological change across the globe. In Persia, the Safavid Empire flourished early in the century, establishing the region as a cultural and economic hub. However, by the century’s end, Persia’s political and economic power had begun to wane, setting the stage for the internal and external challenges it would face in t...

During the Middle Pleistocene, which began around 780,000 years ago and lasted until approximately 126,000 years ago, the Earth underwent dramatic climatic shifts. It was during this epoch that anatomically modern humans, known as Homo sapiens, first emerged around 300,000 years ago. Remarkably, they thrived for approximately 174,000 years before the onset of the Last Glacial Maximum, which pea...

Audio Books (The Adventures of Assal in Non-Spherical Bubbles)
Переглядів 9День тому
Assal had always known there were things she would never understand. Life was full of questions without answers, and perhaps that was the point. But one question had lingered in her mind ever since she was a child: Why are bubbles always round? The simplicity of it gnawed at her. No matter what shape she tried to mold them into-triangles, squares, or stars-the bubbles would resist and collapse ...
Audiobook ( Assal and the Lost World of Alathia )
Переглядів 35День тому
In writing Assal and the Lost World of Alathi, I sought to explore the intersections of science, philosophy, and the fragility of civilizations. While the story of Alathia is entirely fictional, many of the themes are grounded in real scientific and historical concepts. The idea that a highly advanced civilization could rise and fall long before recorded history is a speculative one, but it is ...
Audio book (The Secrets of Geometric Worlds Assal's Journey Through Unknown Dimensions )
Переглядів 10День тому
Before the exploration of the shaped universes, the world Assal knows is defined by the spherical nature of existence. The climate is stable, governed by the predictable cycles of seasons, weather patterns, and the gravitational pull of a spherical planet. The air is familiar, filled with the balanced warmth of the sun and the cooling breezes that bring rain and life. Nature here is rich and di...
Audiobook (The Inevitable Future )
Переглядів 2414 днів тому
As technology marches forward, we are left with questions about what it means to replicate human connection. Can machines ever meet the emotional needs we hold closest to our hearts? Or is their value found in what they reflect back to us-our fears, our hopes, and our need to make peace with the past? Assal’s story isn’t about answers. It’s about learning to live with uncertainty. And in the en...
Audiobook (The Illusion of Choice: Corporate Power vs. Democracy)
Переглядів 4314 днів тому
The greatest triumph of corporate power is not just the wars it wages or the profits it earns-it is the illusion of normalcy it maintains. Most people are not even aware of the deeper structures of control because the system ensures that they are too busy surviving, working, and consuming to notice. Full-time jobs, long commutes, bills, debt, and carefully managed media narratives leave little ...

I don’t know why this video was recommended. But anyway, is it more like a comparison between truth and reality? Drust is truth, haqeeqat is reality.

Wow, this video on Defense Mechanisms in Psychology by Anna Freud was incredibly informative! I've always been fascinated by the way our minds protect us from uncomfortable emotions. Anna Freud's explanations were clear and easy to understand, making complex concepts like denial and projection feel much more relatable. Thank you for sharing this educational content!
You drove right through it. You should drive up 2nd or down to the sugar factory. There are lots of Victorian homes and some amazing views.

Hello. I would like to know if this would be the same process if the state defaulted on my administrative review hearing?
I used to go into that white liquor store every day on my way home from Bayview Elementary. Used to live in the house next door to the church that sits (used to sit)behind that grocery outlet. At the time (91) it was Missionary Baptist Church

Check out the Giant Sequoias in the Sierra Nevadas!
We visited the giant sequoia trees in Yosemite last week and our plan is to check out other places with giant sequoia trees . Any suggestions ?
@@Adventureetcetera yes! Calaveras Big Trees State Park in Arnold Ca is absolutely amazing. It’s about a 2 hour drive from Sacramento. There are two groves of Giant Sequoias, the North, and South groves. Lots of easy hiking trails and a very cool gift store. Camping, with bathroom and shower facilities are also available. It’s the best park to see Giant Sequoias without the crowds of Yosemite. Safe Travels and enjoy!
@@Adventureetcetera the south grove has the biggest/ oldest trees in the park.
Thank You@@kingjsolomon
@@Adventureetcetera of course!
You can also see Giant Sequoias (which are related to redwoods but bigger, in mass) in a few groves in the Sierra Nevada’s. A couple hours northeast of the Bay Area. It’s one of my favorite places in the world : Calaveras Big Trees State Park. It’s a beautiful old growth forest full of thousands of year old giants you can walk around and offers camping with showers and picnic areas. There are two groves, the North and South, South being the trail with the largest and oldest trees. You guys would love it! These trees make the redwoods look small.
Thank you .
Thank you for this video, was like I was there with you observing. Can’t wait to check it out myself!
Glad you enjoyed it!

This is perhaps the most imaginative and profound poem of the entire collection, A Shropshire Lad... It was set beautifully to music by George Butterworth, and a recording by Anthony Rolfe Johnson captures the spirit of this poem in a way that can hardly be imagined - it is just about the most heart wrenching performance I have ever heard... Other poems from this collection that are particularly compelling include The Immortal Part and The Lads in Their Hundreds...
