It handles just as good as a gas mower

i use this daily boss I'm out of Carson and all along the coast. I use a 10amp with a 12 amp, and run time is great. I can easily go with at least 15 medium sized lawns and still have 20% juice left.

@@MunozGardenServiceLLC Thanks for the response! Seems like pretty good battery life! What power level do you run it at to get that amount of houses (Eco/1/2)? What do you like and not like about it? I'm sure you've used the standard Honda Commercial mowers, what's better or worse about these new Egos?

How are you liking the mower i am considering it for commercial use. But looks like in this video he is only cutting half the grass at a time which makes me wonder is the mower not powerful enough to cut the full width of the mower ?

Mower is strong enough I usually use half deck when grass is this tall only. Cuts back on mowing time I do this even with my gas mowers. I use this commercially so you should be good to go. I'm still one to think you cant match gas yet this mower will definitely be a great battery option.

Well I’ve been using this mower since the middle of July and I have to say that it is really impressive. It’s the first electric mower that I have used where I feel that it is a great replacement to the commercial toros and Hondas that I have owned in the past. It is a solid built piece of equipment and very powerful. I only run it on level two of the engine mower settings. I have had no need to run it in turbo mode. Prior to this mower I had been running the Toro Turfmaster HDX and while this was a beast of a mower I did experience on 3 occasions in five years of ownership that the pulleys and cable system would fail (low cutting fan speed) where I would have to bring the unit in for repair. In June of this year I said this is the last straw. This is when I decided to give the Ego 5300 a try. IT WAS A GREAT DECISION. After I got my Toro Turfmaster HDX back from service I decided to sell it. The good news with this is that those mowers are now retailing close $3K a unit where I paid $1900 for mine in 2019 and I sold it for $1950. I will only buy commercial grade equipment even though I’m a residential user because quite frankly the commercial grade units are just better built with a greater degree of longevity. This is why I decided to take a chance on the Ego commercial mower. Two years ago I tried a greenworks commercial electric mower and it was just utter trash. So naturally I was skeptical about the Ego 5300. On my unit I opted to use 10 amp hour batteries as opposed to the 12ah units. I found really good deals on the 10ah batteries and saved some money over the price of the 12ah. At level 2 power on the mower it will cut grass for about 2hrs and 15min. I was very impressed. My first cut with the mower was 8 weeks of uncut grass because the Toro was in the shop. The grass was between 7-8 inches in height and that Ego easily handled this grass bringing it back to 3 inches. At the end of the cut my battery was on its final segment of power and completed this extreme cut without needing to be recharged. Again I was extremely impressed with the results. I cut my grass each week and with the 10ah batteries it only uses 2 of 5 segments of the battery gauge to facilitate the cut.

just tried it recently and works very good

they advertise a 2 hr run time using 2 12 amp batteries. In my case im using a 12 amp with a 10 amp. honestly run time is great. Ill tell you this though i can easily go through an approximate 18[front and backyard] Lawns of similar size as in the video and still have about 20 to 40 % battery juice.

I also own the select cut mower and id tell that in fact this commercial version does have a better cut quality! I'm yet to try mulching

@@MunozGardenServiceLLC. Let us know how that mulching is. The select cut XP is just ok at mulching. So I’ve used the high lift blade and does an ok job of mulching if trying to cut more than 3 1/2 inches but the cut quality is so much better.
