    I understood that I understand nothing about this rotation. What a confusing mess. Why not play a simple rotation and not overcomplicate volleyball.

    This would be even better if you put a red dot on the players that are back court. Good video though.

    Never seen a libero serve xD usually the middle serves once and then moves to libero position (5). When the ralley is lost and the enemy is serving the middle is replaced by the libero

    I have been playing recreational volleyball for decades and still don't understand the need for these rules. If the positions are ,as described, then every move becomes choreographed and predictable hence the element of surprise (attacks) are eliminated. It appears that majority of points are made only from strikes of sheer brute force/effort. In soccer the positions are set for 90m mins and nobody rotates so that attack moves aren't predicted. An even slow , innocuous move creates goals. Maybe I am missing something in these rules .

    When I was in middle school we ran a 6-2 rotation, but we never ran three passers. It was always 2 passers on serve receive and both setters on the court... literally 13yrs later am I finding out about all that you can with these rotations. I mean it worked (and we also only had six players on the team)

    • @Primeministahh
      @Primeministahh 5 місяців тому

      Perhaps you likely ran a 4-2 rotation? It is fairly common for middle school players. Both setters on the court with the front row setter setting two front row hitters.

      @@Primeministahh idk. We called it 6-2. And by we, I mean everyone in my community

    That's why i like 4-2 rotation etter because in 5-1, the opposite which was firts called utility and is the most strongest player on the court, is now very weak and defenseless, which is why they hide him when the opponent serves.

    • @SDVolleyballVideos
      @SDVolleyballVideos Рік тому

      The benefit of a 6-2 rotation instead of a 5-1 rotation is that you can have 3 hitters in the front row the entire time you are playing.
