Moblin(Hakumen) vs. Betadood (Ragna) - netplay casuals
A "Hades" Gauntlet - with plenty of Gauntlet Hades
After getting astral'd a couple times, I tightened up my play and had a few very nice Hakumen vs. Ragna games. learned a lot from this set!
Bad news: Overall, I won maybe 20% of the time.
Good news: I do much better against every other Ragna now. Playing against this level of skill was paradigm shifting

I'm learning to play in a more modern way, so I figured it would be fun to cover some video game music while I learn. The first songs will be from Blazblue or any other bangers that I find. In general, if you hit a CH j.C, you'll want to IAD forward. If you can confirm it, the IAD helps you get there. If not, you can apply pressure.

Magatama Monastery: IAD mixup after Agito

You can save your double jump at the end of a combo to Agito early and IAD on their wakeup. They can do a few things to counter this, like delay tech, reversals (which can be baited) and rolling. Use on an opponent who you notice likes to hold to tech

Playing around projectiles is essential. In this clip, I actually let the 2D rock for a few frames which allows even longer invuln overall. If I cancelled 2D immediately, I would have gotten hit by end of the projectile.

Maybe you need a threat on the ground. Too much backing away and bieng chased. Back C is good to pressure and anti air. There was no walk up. Ggs.
