Very close to his RAN AWAY & HID recording of it in the USA. Only difference is in the original "yellow label" USA recording there was a slight mix of despair & anger in Paul's voice. The Beatles, stalled in recording album #3, found out he was NOT DEAD when someone called & told them Paul McCartney had just charted @ #2 in England on the radio w/ his one instrument recording of YESTERDAY done in Tennessee. "This is my band" he told the studio & label owner hoilding up his acoustic guitar. Paul changed the Beatles forever w/ that couragious act.

It was this song, & his simple acoustic version recording that made me want to write & sing. I got to meet Paul in Nashville a few years ago. He was very kind to me. We were laughing, Both 2 thumbs up about COUNTRY MUSIC. He said, "YES, me too. I love country music. I write county music. I'm here to perform country music." WINTER NAMM at Roland.

can I just say that Christina Aguilera, sings the wrong way she should sing.. I think some people used to call her SHOUTINA coz instead of singing it it's like she's shouting it. P!nk is professionally trained singer, she used to sing gospel and opera. I don't hate Christina but I am sure that P!nk is way better than her, voice and performance..;) Not hating anyone just saying :)

If ever there was an appropriate time for the audience to applaud something, this would be it. Brilliant. Not only is Pierce's physical comedy timing perfect, but I'm amazed at how well they got Eddie's reactions to fit in the scene, too. And I can't help but wonder what Frasier's reaction would've been upon coming home and seeing his couch like that :D. Would not be a good one, I'd imagine.

I was watching The Gold Rush last night and couldn't help but be reminded of the performance in this episode of Frasier. It hasn't come up much in his career but David Hyde Pierce is a master of physical comedy, right up on the level with Sir Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin and some of the cast of the silent film era tribute "The Artist". Not a single second wasted, and amazingly done in a single take using the three camera setup I believe.
