FISH ON! Manic Bass Fishing Langstone Harbour
Headed down to the outflow pipe in Langstone Harbour on a drizzly morning to try and catch a few school bass following three the previous day. I was not disappointed, first cast ON! Third cast ON! Fifth cast ON! Every other cast produced a bass until number five then it just turned off. Never going to complain about that :)

3mins in to a couple of hours of decent footage, the first I've filmed for a long time, this little fellow gets revenge and ruins the rest of the footage because some numpty didn't regularly check his lens

Wrasse, bass and mackerel whilst fishing the Purbecks, Dorset. The bass inhaled a 25g HTO shore jig. I had garfish chasing a sidewinder skerrie at one point

First starry smooth-hound of the year caught at the annual Smutfest meet in Lee-on-Solent. It was a beautiful day but the hounds weren't around in numbers so lucky to have had one! Do I have a good chance of catching on a lure from here? I’ve done 5 lure sessions in selsey and brackelsham bay and haven’t caught a thing
Langstone harbour is a nursing ground for bass with this being right at the entrance. You have a chance, but it just depends on the day. Went back yesterday and not a sniff.

this is a great place. May I ask where you parked the car?
you have to park in worth matravers car park and then walk about half an hour up the hill ,through the farm , over the stile and then down the hill to dancing ledge . you cant miss it .

These are my fishing spots - I live around here. Fantastic isn't it? I love seeing video's of anglers coming down to Seacombe/Windspit/Dancing ledge and enjoying it. Great stuff!
Lovely place. I haven't been this year yet but i'll be back soon. Just don't enjoy the climb back up!
@@surreypiscator - yeah it's quite hike up the hill back to Langton - I prefer Winspit just a mile or two west of Dancing Ledge - it's roughly the same distance to walk but a much gentler climb on the way back - plus there's a really good pub next to the car park.

At the moment there are nets all along Southsea and Hayling shore line.

Isome worm that day. It was tough going around the harbour
