Yes, my cousin Jim Porro (we called him Jimmy Po) is also a grandson of Natale, the Mayor of Celle San Vito. Natale came to America in 1891. Jim's father was Eugene, the third son of Michael Puorro who was the second son of Natale. He came over with his mother, Carmina and sister Magdalene in1895. They lived in Brooklyn, NY. Your step-grandfather went to Columbia U. for dentistry. Did that for years until he tired of looking in other people's mouthes and moved to Singer Island FL. Bought three motels. Called one, The Oleander. Lots of heavy smokers on that side of the family. Unfortunately, all died in their fifties and early sixtes. Hint: Don't smoke. Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. They speak Italian but an old dialect or perhaps even an old language. My Italian friends had trouble understanding the people in the film. The village is getting smaller. It was around 200 in 1995. Now it's less than 100.

@@SilvanoTangi Sorry for the confusion. Natale the Mayor died at 96 years old in 1951. My father (in the film) died two years after our trip to Celle, but he said it was one of the highlights of his life. Did you mean Paolo passed away last year?
