Yeah I figured that there might be more airlines to the area but I believe it also depends on the time of day when they get used by other airlines. I was just reading what was on the signs as I walked through the airport terminal. Thanks for the comment and update. Safe travels!

SJC was the second airport in mind if I didn’t make the MRY airport flight. I am planning to do an updated video(s) for SJC soon!

From baggage claim, go towards the front of the airport to curb side and there should be signs saying for shuttle pick up or hotel shuttles, if not that then call the hotel and see what they say to do or ask any of the airport or airline agents for more information. When I was there they were under construction and I only had a certain amount of time to get my video recording done. I do plan to fly through again, but it may be a while. The answer to this question all depends upon how far away you live or are staying from the airport and if there might be any traffic on your drive, use your app to see what the eta is and plan accordingly to that. At the airport, it will be approximately the time of this video but I would give yourself a bit more time just to be on the safe side and then relax and enjoy! They used to say 3 hours before your flight departure and that I always what I try to do still, but to each their own. Have fun and stay safe!

That is just the seat that I was assigned for the flight, I personally don’t think it would matter to which side you get for a window seat for flying in here because it’s beautiful everywhere. Thanks for your comment!

Thank you for your moment and I do agree with you on these older videos that they were way too shaky. I do have the updated video of the new and improved terminal that has me using a gimbal to keep the camera more steady. Unfortunately the old terminal only has this bad version because after recording it they shut it down for remodeling. Thanks again and safe travels.

@@chetsadventuresbeyond Welcome Chet. Think Alaska will pick up the old SW SF/BUR route? Also why, according to Google maps does PDX airport 21 have a x on it? Roof construction related maybe?

PDX does have construction going on. I am not sure with the routes but I do know that AS cut they BUR to SJC. Thanks for your comment and sorry for not responding sooner.

@@chetsadventuresbeyond thanks 4 replying. I meant to ask why does PDX runway 21 have an x on it? Last month I did a Columbia River cruise and flew from BUR to PDX on AS, then from LWS to SLC to BUR on DL. Don't know when I will see the new PDX central terminal area.

Was the X a light on the run way? If so that means it is not to use and probably having maintenance done to it. I hope that this helps answer your question.
