My Garden Rebuild
Переглядів 1122 роки тому
This video is a rebuild of my previous garden bed. I need this rebuild because I was comfortable with reaching over my plants. So I had to have a door and better screen for protection. Now I love going out to my garden. It is easy to access and plus I don't worry about pest eating my plants. Although you can't keep out all the pest, but you can keep out most to give your plants a fighting chanc...

Nice work. How many bags of gravel did you end up needing?

Thank you 😊. I ended up using 40+ bags. I think it would’ve been better getting gravel dropped off, but I was on a time schedule and had to get back to work.

You go girl!!! 🎉 I have a similar project that needs to be done but girl I'm so intimidated to do this. I'm having the worst luck with finding a landscaper to remain in contact to do the work! I'm inspired but still so intimidated. Especially now since it's June, and I'm in Texas 😅

I'm very proud of you because you're a Female who didn't hold back in getting things done. Some of us at times Stop in any attempt to take on Projects that we think only our Male friends could do. Don't get me wrong though because there are very Skilled Males its a fact. The thing is you proved to me that Females CAN DO this and you made it SIMPLE and easy. Also, all your hard work paid off because we clearly see it came out very nice. Here's the thing, I now feel Inspired to get to work in my own back yard. Thank you for Sharing this.

What we do here in Georgia sometimes we have those long summers. We really really hot. We have those little watering Barrels that we put on the side of the house you cut your gutter and when it rains the water roll off the gutter off the house and it rolls into the barrels rain barrels and anytime is a drought thing. You still have water in those barrels so that you can water your plants or water your grass And people were wondering where we get waterfront when it was such a drought we told him we had a water camp watering barrel in the backyard connected to the house and the rainwater collects over the whole year. It collects inside of the barrel so you might wanna try that next time if you wanna plan a garden

So glad I ran across your video today. I have been trying to figure out what kind of foot path I could make myself (I'm a 75 year old woman). I think I could do this myself, but not in as short a time as you did. If I just take my time and do a little every day, I can do it. Thanks for inspiring me.
