Mt Kingsthorpe, Peel & table Top
A trip to the Toowoomba region to climb as many mountains as I can fit in 1 day. Good views from a different part of SE Qld than I'm used to #visitdarlingdowns #toowombaregion #mtpeelqld #mtkingsthorpe #tabletoptoowoomba

Barney Gorge Creek- via Logans Ridge
Переглядів 13514 годин тому
Been up Mt barney a number of times and looking for something new, and it's a hot day? Get yourself up to one of the main peaks & head down to Rum Jungle. Some nice views. Clear water and some nice pools to cool yourself down. BTW who doesn't dislike the walk back from Lower Portals to your car after a long hike? #barneygorgecreek #mtbarneynp #visitscenicrim #offtrackhikingqld #logansridge

Noosa Everglades

A different adventure, but in nature all the same. Noosa everglades is a beautiful place and the only way to get there is by kayak. Better hope you have strong arms to battle any strong winds, or hope for no winds #noosaeverglades #lakecootharaba #visitsunshinecoast #sunshinecoastadventures

Mt Walsh & the 3 Pinnacles
Переглядів 6521 день тому
I hot day and clear skies, make for awesome views up Mt Walsh. It's not a long walk so to make the long drive worth it I had to do the 3 Pinnacles on the way up. With no maps to guide me, I found out I was pretty close to other people who had done this previously. #mtwalshqld #offtrackhiking

An interesting forest walk, through some amazing stands of forest in northern NSW. A nice little climb to the top to see some amazing views from the coast and into QLD. #brummieslookout #visitnorthernriversnsw #murwillumbah #offtrackhikingaustralia
Valley of the Diamonds
Переглядів 33Місяць тому
Today's adventure is a journey to Crows Nest Falls and the Valley of the Diamonds. We see some beautiful spring wildflower activity, and as usual I stray off the path to find the amazing stuff you only find off the beaten track, like the gorge of Cressbrook Creek #valleyofthediamondsqld #visitdarlingdowns #crowsnestqld #offtrackwaterhalls #hikingseqld
Mindo Waterfalls_ Ecuador
Переглядів 13Місяць тому
I almost forgot to upload this edited video. Mindo is an amazing place in the sub-tropical cloud forests of the Andes descending towards the Pacific coast. It receives a lot of rain as it did on that day. While some of the waterfalls don't have large falls it is impressive the quantity of water that flows over them #mindoecuador #mindowaterfalls #cascadasdemindo #tarabitamindocascadas #reserval...
North Ridge-Mt Barney

Glen Rock, Mt Philp & Red Rock

You want views? What better reward than climbing mountains and seeing views from all sides. Glen Rock & Mt Philp can be technical climbs sometimes. But the views speak for themselves. #glenrockqld #mainrangenpqld #seqldhiking

Interesting video, we are hoping to check out Mount Barney soon, thanks for the insight.
Spectacular views up there!! Great job... looks like a tough one but worth it. :)
Great video! Thank you for sharing your journey. Did you get to summit Huntley, or needed to turn back just short? cheers,
I went just short. A bit bored of my own company and thought, there are no views so I gave up
55 years since I did the creek. Back then I went up the creek, across to North, down Eagle Slabs and Moonlight Slabs to Barney Creek. Camped at the old hut. Love your adventures.
Thanks Would have been a bit harder in those days. Less people means not so many worn paths. I saw some when we needed to go through the bush
Lovely spot 👌
Really cool. I’m interested to know if you needed ropes anywhere on the descent?
not at all. There's a point near the bottom with a nice pool and a waterfall below. Just go a bit higher and you'll find a ramp down
Like no5 thanks for taking on your adventure to Barney creek ❤. We both really appreciate 🙏 your sharing 👍. Greetings from England 🏴 Simon and Beth ❤❤❤❤
Thank you. Next time we will show you us kissing snakes
Beautiful hoking! Nice waterfalls! Friendly regards from Palma de Mallorca! Full enjoyed!
Thank you. I love Mallorca. I used to work in a bar in Porto Colom, and swim across the harbour to the chiringuito on my breaks
Wow
Awesome video mate. Thanks for sharing!
Nice work... That actually was really cool to see up close. And that huge log was quite amazing 🙌
that was a dodgy log to walk on. Real slippery. I tried it but also gave up
Nice climb. I'll have to give that a go one day.
Wrong music choice for me, and those drone shots were way too jerky. Apart from that I liked it.
Awesome vid Paul. Some incredible scenes!
Great to see this, Paul👍👍
Nice to see another part of the mountain. Well done
Learn to mix your audio for a better viewing bro 🙄🤫
really That's strange. I watched the edited version before I uploaded it. I don't know what's going on
Your audio is terrible mate
Great video. Very well explained. Thank you.
That was so cool, like dry diving!
good video mate. some inspo for our trip to Moree in a few weeks🤙
Been there yesterday but not much water flowing! Was sick!
good to know
Been there yesterday but not much water flowing! Was sick!
Great vid, Paul. Just had a chance to watch it now.... probs the best vid on the Tube showing its features, terrain, and what its like to hike - good commentary. Nice to see Mark's tip about shoelaces, lol.
Wow, I was there with a bunch of friends about 50 years ago. We got hit with bad weather and very strong winds, so bad that we literally were holding on to trees to avoid being blown off the edge of the Razorback. We sensibly decided to turn back, so I never quite got to the Lost World. My other memory of that trip is almost stepping on a death adder which was curled up on the overgrown track. It was a long way to help if I had been bitten. Great days, indeed.
Enjoy your videos duses, love the off track stuff. If I was fifty years younger I'd join you. As you like waterfalls I have a suggestion. Go to the Maila Picnic area at Mt Glorious and down the tourist track to Greene's Falls. Drop off and down the left side of the falls into Cedar Creek. Works your way down the creek over several good falls until you reach Love Creek. Go up the creek to the falls and up to the right to get on top of them. Continue on till you reach a creek coming in on the left which runs up to Aida Road via a track from a fork.. This creek also has some great falls, especially at the start. It is quite a tough walk for us oldies, but you dudes would eat it up, with some spikey rainforest. Come out to the main road and down to Lawton fire road and return to Maila via the Western Window track.
Cool vid man she’s a pretty wild place can’t wait to explore it myself! That electric fence is bloody strange though, I’ve heard maybe it’s to protect the dwindling rock wallaby population from foxes and wild dogs so they can regenerate and then relocate them. But not completely sure
after we went through all conspiracy theories we could invent, we decided on something similar to that. Although where are they going to get their water from?
@@yupmeister yeah not entirely sure where there would be a main water source but they get a lot of there water from dew off plants and crevices and ephemeral creeks, but again it’s all just a theory. Could be Bigfoot.
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing. 👍3
Wow!! very beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. sub & 👍
Not bad for a hippy. Great video bro
762 to 1050 is sort of 300….lol don’t blame you after climbing 500 odd m lol….awesome place , haven’t been there for years.
Better sound without gopro. Great video!
beautiful nature
very nice, best one we've seen of that .. crisp imagery ☆☆☆☆☆
great production 😊😊😊 see you soon 🙂
Haha mad dogs! Nice falls
You didn’t happen to do this on the 31st of March?
it was April 1st
Classic crazy climbers back at it again! ;)
Demanding hike that one, thanks for letting me tag along Paul. Great to finally see the drone footage too 👍
I wonder if there is a major waterfall on the main southern branch.
the northern branch of the southern branch or that one. You can see what's there
Aren/t we always trapped in paradise! :P another arduous hike we;ve done, but a great fall find!
Flying Fox creek. Looks nice.
203m!
yeah deff a highlight of the trip!
how good is the drop!
Look at u doing things and stuff!
That creek was probably crystal clear back when the plateau above was all rainforest before European settlement... the brown colour now is due to it being cleared for cattle grazing.
Another classic Paul and shirtless hiker waterfall adventure!
my fav part was mt lofty,,, haha :P

Love your videos, brings back memories from my younger days when there was much more bush bashing.
