    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake 12 годин тому

      Hi! Thanks for your question and for checking out my video. Knodos is a great brand with stylish, high-quality espresso gear, although they’re not as well-known as Normcore here in the U.S. Which brand to choose really depends on your personal taste and the gear you already own. If you're just starting out, I recommend Normcore since they offer a wider range of tools. Knodos has a more limited selection. I'd also suggest checking out MHW-3BOMBER, another brand with innovative espresso products. You can find Amazon links below the video for more details and to place an order. Thanks again for watching!

    The reason everyone else is getting it on day one and why DJI may be skipping the US - your government just passed a bill to ban DJI drones from being on US infrastructure (ie: WiFi). Why ship a bunch of products to a country that may be banning it in a month or two? Canada isn't doing this (even though they have serious issues with the Chinese gov) so DJI is reciprocating by getting Neos and new hardware to Canada on day one. And you're kind of justifying not getting something because it's not here and it's not what you personally want. That's fine - I had an order on day one for pickup at my local Best Buy and then cancelled the order after an hour because my main use is photospheres (spherical panoramas) and bizarrely the Neo can't do those even though the Mini 4K can. But for its intended market, hobbyists, social media shots, a flying, basic, smart camera and light entry level FPV, it's amazing at just US$200. That's 60% of the Hover X1 and it can do more.

    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake 15 годин тому

      Thank you for your comment and for checking out my video! I completely agree with you about the senseless bill banning DJI products in the U.S. I have a feeling Canada might be next. My bigger issue, though, is DJI’s decision not to include a basic remote with the drone here in the U.S. In Canada and other countries, buyers are paying only slightly more and getting the Fly More Combo. Meanwhile, in the U.S., we only get the drone, a charger, and three batteries if we opt for the combo. It feels like DJI is making an emotional business decision and punishing its loyal fan base by stripping down their product for the U.S. market. As for the Hover X1, I didn’t jump on that bandwagon because of the camera quality. I expected a DJI product to be much better, especially considering their expertise and track record. Sadly, it doesn't even come close to the image/video quality of their most basic drone. You can pick up a "Mini 4K" for $299 these days and get much better results. That said, DJI is known for constantly improving their products through firmware updates, which is why I’ve been emphasizing, "Don’t buy this drone yet." In some ways, the delayed U.S. launch could work in our favor. By the time we get the Neo, DJI will likely have released a firmware update to address the known image quality issues. We'll just have to wait and see.

    I owned the tello(120AUD) with controller and a fpv setup, I just upgraded to the neo with the fly more kit no fpv setup(yet). The difference has blown me out of the water for a entry level hobby user, The Neo is what I hoped the Tello was. I don't see how the Neo works for any sort of commercial use besides the niche uses of a super portable drone to check something at heights, a lower quality social media video tool, or to sell dji drones 🤣

    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake День тому

      Sounds like the Neo has been a huge upgrade for you, especially compared to the Tello! I agree, the Neo seems perfect for casual or hobby use, especially with its portability and ease of use. For commercial purposes, you're right-it might be a bit limited unless you're looking for a quick solution for basic tasks like roof inspections or social media content. Definitely not a powerhouse, but it seems to fill that niche pretty well! 😄 What do you think of the Fly More Kit so far?

    Teo thanks for creating this content. I was wondering how the workflow would be with a Bambino and the D54. I was thinking of the Breville Dual Boiler and the Tirin N64. However if I go your route with money saved I can buy a nice home coffee bean roaster.

    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake 14 днів тому

      Hi! I’m really glad I could offer a different perspective. I completely agree-getting a good home roaster makes total sense. With some time and effort, you can achieve consistent results in espresso and milk frothing using the Bambino. The DF54 is more than enough for 3-5 cups of coffee in a home setting. While other machines might offer more automation, they often take away the fun of the espresso-making process. Even with my busy life, I make time every morning to spend 5-10 minutes brewing a couple of delicious cups of coffee for myself and my wife. Working on my latte art during that time gives me great satisfaction. Thank you again for watching my video and for your kind words. I hope you'll subscribe to my channel for more useful content. Hi! Thanks for your question and for checking out my channel/watching my video. I agree, the Gevi EZbru 1000 makes great espresso and can steam really good frothy milk. Just make sure to purge the steam wand into a cup before steaming. I use regular milk (D Milk) and always make sure it’s straight out of the fridge, not room temperature or warm. Additionally, after every steaming session, purge the machine by running hot water through the steam wand to clear any milk sucked in. These steaming tips apply to any machine, regardless of the brand. If you're already doing all these steps, I suggest contacting Gevi for a replacement or repair. The machine should be capable of strong milk steaming. Hope this helps, and please let me know what happens!

    Teo! great videos, thnks for sharing this. May I ask, how does it compare to the IMS or 3Bomber baskets?

    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake 2 місяці тому

      Thanks for the compliment and for checking out my video! This is a high extraction basket, so it comes down really fast. I grind very fine when I use it. I also have IMS and Bomber baskets, which are more traditional and don't require an ultra-fine grind. I like all three of them; they bring out different flavor notes from the same beans, which I really enjoy.

      Thanks for watching my video and your comment. Technically you don't have to remove the chute to clean. The screw on mine can be removed easily, however I clean my grinder without removing anything. @@TeosTake yea i realize that, but my issue was fines were spitting out of the sides of the shoot so i attempted to tighten the bottom screw thinking it had come loose from vibration when i found the screw would not tighten just kept spinning in either direction. So i cant tighten it nor take it off.

I am not affiliated with them but here is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BRRX3YXP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Super easy to install, just make sure you have some sort of light source to light-up the area you are working on. I'm going to post more stuff, that I did with my Maverick, keep an eye on my channel. Thanks again.

      Hey! Thanks for subscribing and your comment. I ordered it from Amazon. The brand name is Capfei. It's definitely the cheaper option. I can't see myself ordering a Force Tamper that's almost the same price as my Breville Bambino, LOL.

      @@TeosTake haha I hear ya man, I’m running the bambino as well. I grabbed a cheaper one for like 30 bucks. Supposed to be impact driven like the force tamper

  • @jamijo203
    @jamijo203 3 місяці тому

    I just purchased one of the bambinos the other day with the bottomless filter and just about dialed in. Your unit appears to be struggling to pull the shot as it just drips, (too fine try coarser). Also strive for the ratio 18-19g beans to 36-39g out within 30 seconds. Also, the preset settings on the unit for a double shot will use way too much water (60g) and dilute the shots. You will need to customize it and use a scale to ensure it pulls the correct amount of liquid and stop the shot. Keep playing with it as you appear to have all the right tools, just a little fine tuning.

  • @JimSlaughterOC

    Looks very nice. I have a Bambino with a bottomless portafilter too. Very fun. I usually use a paper filter at the bottom to cut down on random sprays of coffee coming out. I usually use 16 grams of coffee. Yours looked like it was either a but too much coffee or ground a bit too fine. But it looked very rich! Thanks for sharing.

    Nice video! My same setup has my grind setting at 19 for 17g at 30 sec pull...I'm going a darker roast next time, so hopefully that can reduce the channeling I'm getting...or else I'm blaming my machine bc my puck prep can't be improved 😂

    • @TeosTake
      @TeosTake 3 місяці тому

      Thank you so much! Depending on the beans, I can go as low as a grind setting 8 with 16 grams of with organic Nicaragua or Sumatra beans. I also use WDT every time, followed by a leveler. I hope this helps. Good luck!
