We never had any dramas with them! Correct, we only use the airbags as helper bags to improve drive-ability. We will just use the ramps if necessary when at camp to level it out.

Actually, now that you mention it, our nighthawk does get warm all the time and won't charge because of it. We haven't had ser ice issues but it's more the nighthawk we have had struggles with. Thanks for joining the adventure :) can't wait to get more videos out and share where we have been for the last 4 months!! So keen and in a MUCH better head space!

I definately don't think its related to being 'young' this could have happened to anyone. We had a very unfortunate run of events. Spending 30 years to set yourselves up is great but we made the decision that we weren't guaranteed tomorrow and wanted to take our children on this experience. We also don't think we would enjoy it as much if we wait 30 years and do it when we are 60 😂 those hikes would not be very enjoyable at all!

with the phones definitely need telstra and in those areas it has only 3g/4g hspda call reception little to none data. use external antennas for maximum range 💻📡

It was wall strap bracing material from my work (steel frame carpenter). About 1mm thick.

No, we didn't have to do anything to do with the brakes. We just took it to a trailer shop to get a look over and the bloke there just wanted us to put in an extra centre piece on the draw bar. After that, we took it back and he stamped it. (We actually stamped it ourselves) hahaha Was a SUPER easy process!

Mild steel man, draw bars 100x50,4mm thick, and the base was made with 50x50, 3mm and the rest was made with 30x30 not sure of the thickness on that off the top of my head 🙂

Nice man, it's come up a treat! Did you just weld on a strip around the inside of where the doors go for the pinch weld?

Actually Disregard, just watched the next video, that looks like what you did haha. Did you use 30mm for the door too? or something a bit smaller so there'd be a bit of a gap for the rubber?

Go the Patrol! setup looks neat and tidy towing .. might need some constant 300kg springs for the rear ?? just noticed a bit of sag while hooked up ?

We aren't running any external antennas at the moment! Just seeing how we go without one and if we need to add one later we will!

Yeah man! She does sag! We are considering getting heavier springs!
