In some ways the DBZ games in yhis series seem more like that show than modern dbz games

I love this game, i have both the Saturn and psx versions, by far one of the best from the 8bit to 32bit era.

I did! So get this: my uncle from Mexico actually use to run both official and bootleg games. He sent me a PS1 disc once that had this and 3 other DBZ games (one being this, the other being Final Bout and the other being Ultimate Battle 22) Out of all 3 THIS one was the funnest. Granted all these weren’t translated and in JP, so despite not know what the text meant AND the VAs being in JP, it was still easy to grasp and was a BLAST to play

This was the first 3 on 3 dbz before fighter Z but moves like tenkaichi I liked this game when we needed a piece to translate the disk

It's funny, I haven't cared about anything dragon ball related since Tenkaichi 3 days. Now that I'm playing Sparking Zero and I looked up one or two videos on it, I'm getting recommended vids like yours. interesting video about a game I had no idea existed lol. This was known as Dragon ball z Legends in the USA. I owned a US version of this game. To this day it is my all time favorite dbz game. It’s crazy there is no English version rom on the internet. Been looking for years

The game full of flaw yet it's having one of the best main villian in the whole series.Man,I never fell in love in the character like him.I love how he is developed throughout the series.How he isn't just there to execute a plan.He is there to prove how a hypocrite Kiryu can be trying to suddenly play all-nice when in reality,he is as stink as other Yakuza is in which he seems only to realize about the end of Yakuza 4 and throughout Yakuza 5.Mine got his own principle and he is not the guy that show weaknesses to others.He is the definition of Modern Yakuza.Not all brawl but still have it in him.When they introduce Someya in Yakuza 6,he is truly remind me of Mine.Like,I'm going to agree that Yakuza's age is slowly ending but these two,they bring a new breath of survival to the Yakuza world but what an irony,both of them die and what a coincidence,both of them due to their passionate feelings towards the other

Mine and Kiryu are very similar and Kiryu beated some sense into him... but then the writing ruined it because Mine is like "This is how i show penance" even thougj kiryu just beaten into him how you can always rebuild.... dumb writing.

Mine was a dope character

I always thought Iwami from Yakuza 6 was a warped corrupted version of Kiryu. both Kiryu and Iwami had fathers who did not want them to become Yakuza. Kiryu had nothing but respect for his father. Iwami had nothing but contempt for his father. Kiryu earned the title of dragon of dojima through blood, sweat, and tears. He fought for it while Iwami got the title of Takeru Kuruso through scheming and back stabbing. Kiryu is a humble man who does not care for power. While Iwami is an arrogant selfish prick who only wanted power. Kiryu is brave and selfless. Iwami is a coward. So Iwami like Mine is another opposite of Kiryu he is also what Kiryu could have turned into.

Could've done a more through analyzis though. - Mine has a Kirin on his back. (and lo and behold, a benevolent ruler just so happened to be almost dead when it fought the Dragon) - RGG Online and other external sources elaborate his story further. - No suplex jokes.

hope this doesn't come across as mean spirited, but this was inspiring to watch, as someone who isn't very confident in their own voice or dialect? you sound a bit awkward here but its honestly endearing and I respect you for not worrying about this and speaking on the things you're passionate about regardless I really liked your analysis, I personally feel like Goda isn't as easy to read as many other characters in the series despite being a fan favorite, so it was nice to see someone on youtube giving him the in depth look he deserves, a few errors were made, pointed out in existing comments, but in spite of them you did awesome with this and the Mine vid, I hope one day you can keep doing what you're doing.

I did not see much in Ryuji after beating Kiwami 2 but after thinking from his scenes in the game and watching this, he is my favorite villain with Nishikiyama as a close second.

"Two sides of the same coin." Is honestly the perfect description of Kiryu & Mine, both in their similar foundations and their differing philosophical beliefs. Similar, yet different, tension between the two, yet hold respect for each other. Loved your analysis, I've always wanted to see more of his characters so it's sad that he died. Really could've helped Daigo in Yakuza 4 & 5.

Perhaps the English translation have changed the nuance. Mine was brought up by Ojisan (おじさん), which is Uncle.

Seeing how you uploaded this even though you're not sure about it, to me is brave and admirable. That is also how I feel for every upload except my stuff is sh*t.
