@@ennui9745 It is quite interesting when you read all that background stuff before the war. That economic crisis, the botched Osea&Belka mining operation which only accelerated Belka's economic crisis. Add to that Osea has nuclear weapons. When Belka invaded, why not threaten them with nukes to stop the war? Feels like Osea was preparing for the war and goading Belka to attack. Like they wanted to excuse to invade Belka, cut it apart and take it resources.

Uh...why doesn't NATO threaten Russia with nukes to stop their invasion of Ukraine? It doesn't work that way. Belka had nukes as well, so they could only be defeated conventionally. Your speculation about Osea goading Belka to attack is interesting, but it's not a justification for Belka to invade Ustio and Sapin as well.

You Belka sympathizers are siding with an aggressor nation, and that's honestly worrying. The Ace Combat series has a strong antiwar theme, and they make clear that Osea is far from innocent either, but in no way is the audience supposed to root for Belka. At all. One of Belka's conquered subjects became independent from their oppression, and Belkans then say that "Osean meddling led to Ustio's independence."
