Very useful video but I have a question of this video you tape up the flat rate legal envelope for obvious security but when I went to the local post office with my Gemini mailer I was informed that I can't tape over the top or sides. I have to only use the upper tab to adhere and they could tape over but not me. Tell me since this video that the post office put in this new restriction or not.

Thanks for the video. I like your method & setup! I've been trying to figure out which boxes to use when I ship graded books via ebay. I never see an option come up for Mailing Box so I usually just make my own box and ship regular Priority Mail. Which shipping option would you use if you were using the mailing boxes to ship one graded comic from NY to CA? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

regular tape will damage cards and stick to them and leave sticky residue NEVER use it painters tape only!!!

Wouldn’t the post reject these for being too rigid and nonmachinable? I’ve just learned eBay has this and I feel it will help with sales. I’ve been shipping in very small bubble mailers but it’s frustrating that I still have to charge the seller 4-5 dollars for a first class package… I was looking into this and while I do have regular top loaders I have the semi rigid ones for grading. I just worry they’ll get bent or rejected.

I would put smaller glasses or mugs in bubblewrap and a 6x6x4 box or a size like that and then in a Flat Rate Padded Mailer..$8 to 10$. I also try to lot up 2 or more and ship Parcel Select.

I recently sent 3 shipments off about 2 weeks ago and all 3 have shown zero scans, despite not hearing from any of the buyers. If one of the buyers makes an INR claim, will the insurance still pay out if no scans took place? I did take pictures of the envelopes before mailing them.

The main thing I’m wary about when dealing with the Gemini Mailers has been the edges of the inner flaps of the mailer creasing the book. That’s why when I place a book face up, I place a piece of cardboard on the front of the comic and/or bubble wrap to cushion the pressure of any crushing impact that could bisect the book.

I had a question. Have you tried to use a photo mailer or that same dvd mailer for eBay standard envelopes? I dropped off my first card today and left pretty concerned. It didn’t seem like they wanted to accept the cardboard photo mailers. I used one just like the one you have in this video. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you shipped raw baseball cards? I see on eBay they say you can ship up to 15 raw cards with the standard envelope. I have never tried it. I just been selling single cards in a top loader.

Great video, you can tell you are very knowledgeable about shipping cards securely and inexpensively. Question, do you need a label maker? Can you print it on regular paper and use stick glue or tape to put it on the envelope?
