Charlie's Guitar Stroke Recovery Journey
Приєднався 22 бер 2011
I love playing guitar and during COVID I suffered a “Stroke”. This unexpected stroke affected the whole right-side of my body, in other words, zero movement; this was a very scary experience. Slowly movement is returning through therapy, extreme hard work, staying very positive, being hopeful and many prayers; still healing through the grace of God! After some time has gone by, I started have a strong desire to start playing guitar again. My fret hand is fine, the challenging issue is my picking and strumming right hand, at which I call the engine. So, I accepted this personal challenge to start playing guitar again. I decided to make a weekly video library to document my progress. Please follow me on my journey and I hope this adventure encourages others to do the same. God Bless!

Charlie’s Guitar Stroke Recovery Week 146 - Savoring Life and Thanking God What’s that old phrase, "Stop and smell the roses"? And if you really physically smell the roses, take time to savor every moment. To me, this means to relax, take time to enjoy the beauty of life, intentionally slow down, lift your eyes, and pay attention. Ecclesiastes 3:11: "He has made everything beautiful in its time...

However, I soon realized that it wasn't the circumstances that were holding ...

Charlie's Guitar Stroke Recovery Week 49 Joy To The World
i had a TIA (smaller) stroke 10 years ago, my ankle and shin muscles stayed stiff for 6 months, long after the rest went back to normal, i read that GRAPE SEED EXTRACT would help, and within a month of taking it my ankle returned to normal - i now have had a second real full stroke and lost guitar playing, after a year still slow but recently tried grape seed extract again, and now two weeks in, i am able to play barre chords again (finally), also PQQ with coenzyme 10 and magnesium very helpful (check for interactions)
God Bless you my friend, we're here cheering you on to continue to make Beautiful music, Keep On Creating, Rock On & God Bless.
