This came out the year I was born, and we had it on vinyl when I was a kid. I’m on track #1 and I definitely don’t remember it sounding this demented!

I remember them playing this song on nationally-televised baseball games in July, August, and September of 1973, every time Aaron hit a home run to inch closer to Ruth's record.

Saturday mornings, on National Public Radio in the US, they used to broadcast the original BBC radio show. Much better than the BBC TV show, or the movie that came 35 years later.

This brough back memories. I had a fisher-price record player when I was little and this was in my collection. I'm pretty sure my mom cut it off the cereal box originally; but I'll never forget that square record.
