I’ve gone down the UA-cam rabbit hole of Wicked interviews is this is by far one of, if not the, most fascinating. I didn’t expect this level of depth and back & forth from a Zoom interview at first, but man I’m glad I stayed. I say this as someone who fell asleep during the musical (except for the famous songs) but was utterly enthralled and so moved by the movie. Getting to see how they made that stage-to-film adaptation, the creative and decisive “how the sausage was made” machinations… just a wonderful interview.

I used to have my friends repeatedly watch the scene in the pianist where Adrien has to play the piano to save his life--no film scene has made me cry more every-time I watch it. What an amazing actor & human 🤍🎬

The interviewer is provincial in the American sense, he thinks every actor around the world has this same story like you're slaving away, waiting tables, waiting for a big break in Hollywood. Actors in most other countries like Russia are trained actors, they go to theater school, they do plays most of the time, it's the same case with Mark.

Pleeeeeeeez we dont want this trashy...your desperate not to look old movie!! Your character is weak, selfish, and trashy. Just no!

Superb in every aspect, never a dull moment but riveting throughout ... this adaptation of the Dumas masterpiece sets a high bar indeed ... excellent acting, gorgeous cinematography, and beautiful score create an immersive experience not soon forgotten ... Bravo!

Hard to hear some of the discussion- the sound is appalling- so muffled.

I only saw these three stooges in the entire movie. They looked badass but they are no way badass. Goofies.

Late to the film as well, but glad I saw it. A true homage to silent films. 👍

I enjoy most musicals though the genre won’t generally excite me. I enjoyed Wicked. (I enjoyed The Wizard of Oz, too.) The tech is amazing. The performances are solid. But I think there are professionals in the film industry who look at films as art forms. Wicked is entertaining but not artistically compelling. Hubs and I saw it as this year’s Barbie or West Side Story. We’re with the pros on this one.

i am so happy Thai art is having international acclamation thanks to this incredibly talented director. I hope this is just the first of a very long career full of success and great films.

Justin is really emerging as one of the most talented and exciting contemporary screenwriters working in the industry. To have both "Challengers" and "Queer" under his belt so early in his career is nothing short of incredible, and so inspiring to someone like me as an aspiring screenwriter myself. Amazing interview!

"Queer" was a deeply moving adaption of one of my favorite Burroughs works. Lovely interview.

I’ve followed Demi since she came onto my radar as we are almost the same age She’s been actor, director, producer, and I read her autobiography which was horrifying as her mother was a monster But she speaks about the brutality many women have towards themselves yet she botoxes which is contradictory as far as her message I wish she wouldn’t But, as always, she’s fearless and I learn so much from how she goes for it, ☮️

I was very late to Hundreds of Beavers, but I am glad I finally got around it. What a blast for one of the funniest movies in years. Really loved this interview, and I really hope the movie gets some sort of award recognition because it truly deserves it.

That guy really hated Wicked!!!! The reaction for every nomination is so absurd. You critics always act like intelectuals and cinema art purists. Too bad and a shame for that! Let’s do an Oscar nom reaction when Wicked gets both noms, wanna see your angry and frustrating face!!! 😋 Same reaction for me with Perez: the worst film of the year. Terrible in many ways, only Gazcon and Saldana are great. The rest of performances and techs sucks in every level.
