Question: Do you have your own videos, which are talk about the human nature of Christ?
I do not have any videos at this point on that topic. That would be an interesting topic. Jesus was tempted like as we are yet without sin. Jesus, covering His divinity in the garb of human flesh, born among us as one of us, lived as a human. He depended upon the divine power of His Heavenly Father and often sought Him in prayer for this to live victoriously. His flesh was weak and broken from 4000 years of human degradation, but His spirit/heart was pure and holy detesting sin; Jesus recoiled from sin and evil. Jesus sought purity and holiness always and loved it. He lived without any sin. Through God's power and promises and being "partakers of the divine nature" we are also called to "go and sin no more," to live pure and holy lives sustained by His divine power and our own hearts being "born again." Here's a reading from The Faith of Live By, p.49, which gives more insight on this topic. """The Eternal Son Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. John 14:30. FLB 49.1 We should have no misgivings in regard to the perfect sinlessness of the human nature of Christ. FLB 49.2 He is a brother in our infirmities, but not in possessing like passions. As the sinless One, His nature recoiled from evil. He endured struggles and torture of soul in a world of sin. His humanity made prayer a necessity and privilege.53Testimonies for the Church 2:202. FLB 49.3 He could have sinned; He could have fallen, but not for one moment was there in Him an evil propensity.54 SDA Bible Commentary 5:1128. FLB 49.4 In taking upon Himself man's nature in its fallen condition, Christ did not in the least participate in its sin. He was subject to the infirmities and weaknesses by which man is encompassed.... He was touched with the feeling of our infirmities, and was in all points tempted like as we are. And yet He “knew no sin.” He was the lamb “without blemish and without spot.” Could Satan in the least particular have tempted Christ to sin, he would have bruised the Saviour's head. As it was, he could only touch His heel. Had the head of Christ been touched, the hope of the human race would have perished. Divine wrath would have come upon Christ as it came upon Adam. Christ and the church would have been without hope. FLB 49.5 Not even by a thought could Christ be brought to yield to the power of temptation.... Christ declared of Himself, “The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” FLB 49.6 Jesus did not allow the enemy to pull Him into the mire of unbelief, or crowd Him into the mire of despondency and despair. FLB 49.7 Christ's humanity was united with divinity, and in this strength He would bear all the temptations that Satan could bring against Him, and yet keep His soul untainted by sin. And this power to overcome He would give to every son and daughter of Adam who would accept by faith the righteous attributes of His character. FLB 49.8 Jesus recoiled from evil; He hated sin from His soul. He was sinless. He had our weaknesses and "infirmities" but not our evil propensities; He was holy and desired only holiness. By divine power Jesus lived and overcame. By divine power, being "born again" (given a new heart and desires for holiness), Jesus wants you and I to also overcome. He empowers us if we will seek true holiness "in this present world" (Titus 2:11-14). Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness in Him He promises to fill (Matthew 5). Abide in Him and ye shall bear much fruit of holiness to His glory (John 15:4-5), for without Him we can do nothing.

@@enochjiang8124 You're welcome.
I liked this video. There is a big difference in overcoming evil with good, Biblically speaking; & being a doormat for other’s abuses. May I repeat & memorize these scriptures, to be prepared spiritually when an attack comes from other humans, & Satan! Thank you!
Amen! Thank you for sharing! Quite true!
I have noticed that she frequently calls Jesus "the ETERNAL Son of God" from 1878 forward (RH, 8 Aug 1878), which is difficult for some people to understand if they try to understand how Christ is God's Son by the analogy of human sons. This goes along with her statement that there "never was a time" that Jesus "was not in close fellowship with the eternal God" (ST, 29 Aug 1900).
I appreciate you sharing those statements. Great observations! Many Bible prophets used the "Son" reference when talking of Jesus. I can see how some might struggle with that when our own example fails to reach that concept in an eternal sense, but of course this is the reality of God eternal. God the Son is just as eternal (Micah 5:2) and I love how Ellen points that out clearly in her writings. That is a great quote you share. There "was never a time" when Jesus was not in close fellowship with His Father. Jesus always existed to be with His father. "God is love" means eternal expression of love and that is in context of relationship with others rather than merely self. So, God the Father, Son, and Spirit in eternal relationship of love. Powerful.

What has God been showing you about spiritual gifts in His word? How has this message (i.e. these scriptures) helped in understanding spiritual gifts among God's people, His church, even in the last days of earth's history?

There are many deceivers- as pointed out! If we are Not Worshiping God in Spirit & Truth- then We are Deceived!! At the final Judgement- Jesus will say “I Never Knew You”! Matthew 7:21-23! …. God Chose Saul/Paul as a Prophet/Messengger- Sent to Give/Teach The Gospel of Jesus Christ-His Salvation to the Gentiles! God Chooses Who He will Be His Messengers/Prophets. Jesus Chose the 12 Disciples. Malachi 4:5 - Will God Not Send in These Very Last Days, a True & Faithful Messenger/Prophet in these very last days of earth’s History?? Absolutely in the spirit & power of Elijah the Prophet. I did not grow up Seventh Day Adventist- At All. It wasn’t an easy thing to prove, show, convince me that Ellen G White Had been chosen as God’s Chosen Messenger in these very Last Days. By the Biblical evidence, reading books written by her, Her Story; The Spirit of God convinced me beyond the shadow of a doubt!!! What a blessing Ellen’s councils, books, rebukes- Have been. the most heretical woman in the world.....leading astray people like you !!!!! incredible
Sounds like you have a very bitter spot against her. Why so? Why do you have such an issue?
Or we could just be calling wolves dressed up as sheep the wolves they are.... Ellen's gravestone is an Egyptian phallic symbol. I'll let that settle it. She was well informed about Freemasonry and knew what she was doing and also her choice of language in her works. The symbolism is all over her original works both in writing and image.
I don't believe that's a fair assessment at all. Her works are thoroughly Bible-based. Do you have an issue with the Bible? She was not about secret societies in the least bit. She was about Jesus Christ and His word. Do you have an issue with Jesus Christ and His word? Do you claim Jesus was a freemason? He surely was not. You should be very careful what kind of things you see and interpret. I once met a man who cried "phallic symbols" in just about everything he saw and condemned everyone for it. The corrupt interpretation was on him and not others. When visiting his home we discovered he had furniture in his own home that by his own standards of judgment could be interpreted as a "phallic symbol" against him. To be very honest, I think people need to stop seeing "phallices" and start seeing Jesus more. It will change the world for good if we do that instead. The Bible points us to see Jesus Christ and be changed by Him. Ellen writes truths pointing all to Behold Jesus and His word that we may be saved by Jesus' love and power. I hope you will see this truth and not something else that is not there.
@@EllensStory7 EGW is not Jesus and Freemasonry didn't exist at the time of Jesus. EGW was a product of her age and there are even major photographs of her and her top people making major masonic hand signs. It's in her vocabulary, her artwork in the original editions of her major work which show the masonic eye, etc..., her grave stone. You can see it or not based on your own biases and knowledge. I've did research on this a decade ago and I'm informed. If you are not then that's your lens on the world. It's not about seeing things that are not there; it's simply about seeing what is there. See it or don't. It's your life.
@@savoirfaire6181 EGW is not Jesus. I agree. The Bible agrees. EGW agrees. Everyone should agree. I hear your suggestion, but I do not believe that is an accurate assessment of EGW or her writings. I have read her writings for more than 20 years and what I see is that Jesus is uplifted and the Bible is greatly uplifted as God's Holy word that we must study and follow above all else. That is NOT the teaching of freemasonry. But it is the teaching of Jesus. Matthew 4:4; John 17:3; 12:32. John 12:32 "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." (Jesus). I see Jesus and His word being lifted up from page to page, cover to cover. That's what I see. And I pray you and the world will see it too and set your affections on Jesus 100% And if you want to read EGW with that desire, I encourage you to find a blessing there. I encourage you to read and study your Bible, with all diligence, in humility, and surrender, asking God's Spirit to reveal His truth to you. Give all to Jesus and let Him direct you (Rev. 3:20). Prayers.
@@EllensStory7 Do you feel the same way about C.T. Russell and the other movements that formed out of the Great Disappointment? You see, all these movements and perspectives seek to honor Jesus and the Bible but that doesn't make them accurate to the Bible, nor in agreement with each other. CT Russell is buried under a giant pyramid.... You are welcome to your opinion and I don't intend to linger here and continue to hammer in mine. There are no points to arguments but telling perspectives has value. You are well aware that there are as many brands of interpreting the Bible as there are flavors of candy. Good intentions apparently count for very little when it comes to that matter. Enjoy your beliefs.
@@savoirfaire6181 Thanks for sharing your perspective. I may agree with some of those people on certain points and I can accept that. But I'm sure that I don't agree with them on all points because if so we'd have the same faith. Many varied beliefs claim the Bible as their source text. But the Bible does not promote error or confusion or a disjointed message (i.e. contradictory beliefs). So the error is with us humans. Not with God or the Bible. And if we come in a true and genuine spirit, humbly before God in prayer, seeking to know Bible truth, we can find it. God will show us. People can study together in the right spirit, in Jesus, and find harmony of belief from scripture. I've seen it many times. But that takes choice and willingness. Some things are very clear. Some texts are not as clear but the clearer ones can help us to better understand the less clear. These are principles of hermeneutics. Do we take a plain reading of the scriptures? Or do we allow men's traditions and numbers of popularity of beliefs to guide our conclusions? The Bible speaks for itself if we will allow it to. If we will, I say, find real Bible truth and common ground on the main points. Jesus will help us with other points besides after the main ones are agreed upon. The gospel and the law are central questions we better find agreement upon as Christians. Hebrews 10:16 - what will God write in our hearts and minds as believers who covenant with Him through faith in Jesus and His eternal sacrifice? I say to all start with the Bible in every case. It is our foundation. If we can find agreement there, then we are good. (I say again the gospel and the law are the heart of the faith in Jesus we must find biblical unity on. Rev. 14:12 - lets all start there and look for God's truth from His word, the Holy Bible) (Ellen is a finer point, if we believe she harmonizes with the Bible. If she doesn't then you should not worry about her).
Proverbs 6:16-19
Thank you for sharing the holy scriptures. They are always standing true. But how would you want to apply them around here? There are right and there are wrong applications of God's word.
I had to leave my church a few months ago because of false teaching and some downright heresy. I told a fellow church member why - A person. I did not fight with anyone, just left. The pastor called me and instead of acting like a caring shepherd he ran me up one wall and down the other. I could have smeared him but I kept quiet. I did not speak evil of or to him. Sometimes we have to take a stand.
Thank you for sharing! Sometimes there are very real issues to be addressed, and in the Spirit of Christ we must address them. It sounds like you were choosing the higher ground. We must always stand for the right of God's word. We must be true to conscience as God speaks to us. God will have His final word in every case, so its best to let Him do the final rebukes rather than us. Not always easy, but by God's grace its surely best.
Yes, I think we should pray for people in responsible positions. Our leaders also. It can be tricky. Because there are a few false ungodly teachers/ leaders etc in the world church.
Amen to that! Very true! Sin does need to be put out if it is being practiced and people are trying to manipulate God's grace and teh church, whether it be in leaders or the people. "A little leaven leavens the whole lump" says scripture. 1 Cor. 5-6 deals with a situation like that one. So, I really appreciate the point you are sharing here. Nobody should have immunity to practice evil in a place God calls to be holy. We may error or fall in ways, and God has grace, with the consequences to protect and purify. But no one can be permitted to practice sin and try to cloak their evil and do as they please...this would be very wrong. Discernment is very much needed...thank you so much for sharing this important thought here! God bless you!
Are you thankful Jesus looks out for His faithful servants and people? Will you pray that God will help us all to have a right spirit? To love His people and leaders, even if we don't always agree with everything or if they make mistakes as all humans do? Shall we pray for our leaders? Share your thoughts below. Blessings! :)
people suffer from hallucinations for many reasons. Drug dependency is one and mental illness is another. Regardless, how can anyone be sure that her "visions" were from a deity? There is nothing to support her claim other than her own words. LOL. You need to think before you believe something. Evidence is the best path to the truth. There is none here.

Hey friend. Theres a test of a false prophet in Deuteronomy 13. Can you make a video that shows what she said came to pass?
Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it! Sure, I would love to do one on that passage as well. I'm a little swamped right now, but I will be glad to put together a video on that topic as soon as I'm able. Thank you! I like how that passage, Deut 13:1-5 reminds us that teaching obedience in faith and love to God is an essential work of God's true prophets and that miracles and signs having come to pass can only bear weight when the prophet or messenger of God is truly pointing us to God and calling us to follow and obey Him. That's very important. Even the devil can make predictions happen, but he doesn't call people to truly obey God in love and faith. More good stuff on this when I can get that video put together. Thank you again for the request and idea!
@@EllensStory7 sorry, this is the correct passage i was looking for. Deuteronomy 18:20-22 "But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die. And if you say in your heart, 'How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?'-when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him." (Deuteronomy 18:20-22, ESV)
@@jasongill8963 Certainly. Thank you. I will happily share on that text once able...it is a very important one, along with the many others like the one you mentioned in Deut. 13. There are some people, as I'm sure you know, who suggest that Ellen made incorrect prophecies. I have seen some of the suggested examples even posted in videos this year. When understood in the correct context these suggestions are not compelling, but in error. Just like when the Pharisees tried to say Jesus made false prophecies about destroying the temple and rebuilding it in 3 days. They no doubt took His words, but they grossly twisted them to say something that He Himself was never saying. Jesus talked about His body temple being destroyed and raised up in 3 days. He also spoke about the Jewish temple being destroyed, but He never said that temple would be rebuilt in 3 days - that was a twisted lie of the Pharisees. So, we really have to be fair to Jesus, letting Him speak for Himself, not believing the twisted accusations of His haters. The same understanding must be extended to Ellen or any of God's faithful servants.
How willing are you to follow Bible truth when it is revealed and applied to your life? What has been your experience?
0:50 "Does she say that we need to perfect ourselves to be saved?" Yes, she does many times but she also proclaims salvation through the grace of Christ. And this allows apologists like you to claim that she adds nothing to "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, least any man should boast." (Eph 2, 8-9) but we both know that's not true
She certainly speaks about perfecting Christian character. There's no doubt about that, and it is no doubt a necessary part of the salvation experience. The Bible calls it sanctification. But you have to understand that salvation is by grace through faith and by the perfect righteousness of Jesus rather than our own imperfect, faulty righteousness. She points out clearly what the Bible points out. Many will quote Ephesians 2:8-9 which Ellen wholeheartedly believes and teaches (and I feel the same about it), but few today will bother to quote Ephesians 2:10, the very next verse, that Jesus is working on us to perfect our Christian characters and "good works" and that we are "His workmanship" and that Jesus never does a shoddy work or job in us or anyone, and that we all need to cooperate by daily choices and surrender of our own wills to God on a daily basis. Jesus never removes freedom to choose from any, and we need to choose daily to cooperate with Jesus and take His yoke, which is light, upon us daily. Ellen mirrors the Bible which tells us: "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Cor. 7:1). We surely have a work to do in cooperating with God and seeking and choosing holiness daily, to seek Jesus, and be more like Him. So Ellen teaches exactly what the Bible itself says about our sanctification as part of the salvation process where Jesus is delivering us "from" evil or sin in our lives to make us more like Himself. In the video above I emphasize our justification, as she does too, which is the foundation of the entire salvation process. Yet justification is only part of that process - the beginning and foundation. It's not the entire process. The entire process involves the removal of sin from our lives by sanctification, and the final re-entry to God's glorious presence in glorification where the sinful world with its evil is no more. Justification by faith in Jesus is the core of our salvation experience and rides us all the way through. Sanctification depends upon our justification and our continued right standing with God through His grace and His perfect righteousness upon which we depend for our forgiveness and right standing before God (1 John 1:9-2:2). It allows us to walk in peace with God through Jesus every day and allows us to seek Him in love and peace and joy and to experience His sanctifying power in our lives to deliver us from evil, as we pray and act in faith according to the manner of prayer Jesus taught us to pray (Mt. 6). Does this make sense? The Bible teaches all these things. Ellen emphasizes them all as they are in the scriptures. So neither the Bible, nor Ellen, nor I would ignore the perfection process of sanctification, but would emphasize it in the context of our justification in Jesus Christ.
When you say Ellen "adds" to salvation by grace through faith, I say she adds nothing more than what the Bible itself "adds." Ellen is a HUGE believer in the Bible, as the truth-center for our faith. She thoroughly appreciates it all, and what Peter wrote. I would invite you to read the following passage, prayerfully, from Peter, in the Bible. Especially verse 5 and following. Does Peter and the Bible want us to "add" anything to our salvation by faith experience? 2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2Pe 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 2Pe 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 2Pe 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 2Pe 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Pe 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 2Pe 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2Pe 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2Pe 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. Does Peter connect the necessity of sanctification to our salvation experience and entrance to Heaven? And the lack of sanctification - that is, "unfruitfullness" to blindness, backsliding, and being lost or denied entrance to heaven? The Bible presents growth in holiness as a necessary part of our salvation experience. To refuse to grow is to refuse Jesus and His power and His calling in our lives, the Bible says. It is to deny the blood of Jesus that saves us and to count the cross of Jesus an unholy thing (Hebrews 10:29). Ellen simply supports the Bible's teachings here on salvation. Do you support the Bible's teachings here?
Do you believe we are often missing deep reverence for God in our lives and churches? If so, how do you believe we can encourage and experience this spirit before God? What do you think will be the effects of doing so?
We often times forget that God is not just a friend but also our creator😢
It sounds like it would be a Very Holy relationship with Him… Being on Holy Ground, like Moses at the burning bush. Does that sound right, Ben?
@@wowoko101 That sounds about right to me. Thank you for sharing. Yes, God wants us to have a holy experience with Him always! In this holy experience with Him we also shall become more like Him, more holy, by connection with HIS Holiness, power, and grace through Jesus.
@@AffectionateConchShell-gk8nz True. Great point. He is our incredible, all powerful Creator and Redeemer. When we contemplate His greatness it leads to greater awe of Him and greater transformation in our lives leading us to become more like Him - even as it was in Isaiah's experience (Is. 6:1-8). Generation after generation has manufactured false gods with broken characters to justify sin. People rise no higher than their idols. But, when we contemplate and connect with the God of all holiness and perfection, we are led upward in Him, His mercy, love, forgiveness, grace and power to become more like Him in character. Blessings and prayers that we may love and reverence our wonderful Creator and be transformed by Him to be filled more with His love and righteousness. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things things shall be added unto you." Matt. 6:33. "Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" (Jesus, Mt. 5:6).
What thoughts come to your mind when you see verses in scripture saying we are saved by faith in Jesus and His perfect righteousness on our behalf?
Amen. Thank you Pastor Ben for sharing.
You're welcome! God bless you! :)
I used to have a distorted view of God, believing He was a perfectionist who expected the same from us. I thought if we failed to pray or do certain things, He would keep a record to use against us. Even though I had learned John 3:16 in church, I never fully grasped its true meaning. For most of my life, I was taught that God loves me, but I often wondered how, since He didn't speak to me, show me visions, or let me hear His voice, not even in dreams. When I fervently prayed for my earthly father to recover from illness, he passed away regardless, leaving me feeling resentful towards God. I questioned the purpose of prayer if He didn't listen or answer. However, I later came to realize that God does not want us to suffer - He is not the one actively trying to destroy us. In fact, God is our protector, as evidenced by His sacrifice of His beloved Son Jesus so that I could be reunited with my father at Jesus's second coming. It was Satan, not God, who causes sickness, death, and our suffering. I was foolish to wrongly blame God. Yet, despite my misguided views, God has shown me patience and mercy. Even though I grew up fatherless, He provided me with protection and patiently guided me back to Him. Now, I pray daily to acknowledge and thank God for the gifts He has given me: life, protection, and love. Amen!
Amen! Praise God! That is quite a testimony, Mary. You really have been through many things, but God is so faithful and loving and merciful for He has surely been with you through it all and helped you to see His real and true love in spite of all the hardships you went through. Praise God! God loves us so much and He has even suffered with us too through it all. Jesus suffered with us in this life and lost his earthly father Joseph (we find from evidence in the gospels) and lost friends, was betrayed, and hated, mocked, beaten, falsely accused and hung on a cross though innocent. This world has deep pain and wrong in it. And Jesus has suffered through all this with us, even as one of us. It's really the amazing love of God! Praise Jesus for His eternal goodness and love. Thanks again for sharing! God bless you today!
I love what your goal is for this channel, and upvoted the video, but have 2 pieces of advice that you make not enjoy. 1. The channel name is unfortunate. I typed it in, and nothing from this channel came up in the results. Nearly everything was for a former TV presenter who was in favor of abominations. 2. For an Introduction to Ellen, the content of this video is all over the place. . May God bless and guide you, and may your work in uplifting God's prophet grow stronger and better as you move forward.
Thank you so much! :) 1. Thanks for pointing this out, I appreciate it. Noticed that too. But, I believe the name of the channel will become more prominent as the channel grows and becomes more prominent in the algorithm. It’s quite new yet. 2. Sorry the video seemed a bit all over the place to you. The introduction I wanted for Ellen on this channel is the start of her ministry in the context of the Advent movement around which her ministry began and focused. God bless you, too! I pray so! Thank you so much again! Have a blessed day in our Lord Jesus Christ!
I didn't think the contents of this video were all over the place. It was a nice simple introduction to who Ellen White was. As to the name of this channel when I was being lazy and typed Ellen story, the other Ellen was found on the top. Couldn't find this channel at all. But when I typed Ellen's story. It popped up as 2nd video.
@@maryc8tube Praise the Lord! Thank you for sharing, Mary! Very helpful! :)
