That looks soo fun
hey, wheres the sender is the fork still making noises? i would love to see a vid on it!
I just got mine last week and used it once unfortunately it has a wobbly cassette and sticker protection peeling off..
Yeah I’ve had the cassette problem aswell, you need to get a 1mm cassette spacer the put on where the spokes and cassette meets :/
@@erictrang8119 yeah i just fix it by putting 1mm spacer, btw how long did you cut your chain to remove the slapping
hows the sender going i consider one would you recommend. how does it jump.thanks.
ps just subbed
Hey man, I am currently looking for an upgrade from canyon sender cf 9.0 2018 to this one you have. I am also 168cm and I am 100% going with a size S. The fork is FOX 40 performance elite, right? so the only difference between FOX 40 factory and FOX 40 performance elite is the Kashima coating, which isn't such a big deal. But what about the shock? I don't get it like what does the EVOL mean, because FOX uses this indication for air spring, but it's still a dhx2 so it's a coil shock...could you maybe do a small talk about how you set up your shock? Does the EVOL mean you can theoretically change the psi in the dhx2 chamber? I currently ride factory dhx2 and the psi must not be changed. I really love this bike, every aspect of it, and potentially it's only one Kilogram heavier than the RockShox version, I like the saint version over the SRAM and I also prefer FOX over ROCKSHOX. I was also thinking like, you are probably going to change the spring rate when you get the bike right? You can buy the SLS spring, which is something about 240grams lighter, so the green canyon is theoretically only about 800grams heavier... What isn't worth 1000bucks...Thanks for the video tho! EDIT: why did you extend the chain by one link?
Hello! yes, the only difference between the fork on the 2021 models are the the Kashima coating with the dampers and air springs being exactly the same on both performance elite and factory versions. regarding how canyon lists the shock as "FOX DHX2 EVOL Performance Elite". that may be a mistake on canyon's part as the coil shock aside from canyon's listing, doesn't have anything to do with it being EVOL as the graphics and even on fox's website don't indicate EVOL anywhere. The rebound adjustment range are very usable and the bike overall has great mid-stroke support even on coil, Although the shock doesn't have the extra compression and rebound adjustments as the factory version, for me it really isn't a deal breaker as even comparing with rockshox's top coil shock offerings, has the same amount of adjustments, and about the chain length, on my bike when it was shipped to me when putting it in the smallest gear, the chain had zero tension and was just resting on the chainstay so I actually removed a chain link instead of adding one as mentioned in the video with it being the cause of the extra noise from the bike. assuming the 1000 bucks mentioned being the price difference between the two models, the 1000 difference I'm guessing is up to the sram parts that are specced, for example the cranks on the sram are carbon which I don't prefer for cranks anyway and I don't think is worth it, and the forks are the WC ROCKSHOX boxxers which are more expensive than my 2021 FOX performance elites which I prefer more over the boxxers as the differences are second to none anyways! Thanks for watching the video, hope you found that informative!
@@erictrang8119 thanks man! So stoked on that bike, and that red parts you made? So sick mate. Waiting for canyon restock and I’m going in that bike
please post more of you riding your canyon sender
you got a nice bike sir,im happy seeing people doing stuff they like.ride safe from Philippines
hey when will there b another vid on the sender??
The fork on it is currently making some weird noises so as soon as that’s fixed I’ll make another video 🤘
hey, thinking about this bike. Hows the carbon frame holding up? Any things you have found about the bike so far? Great vid!
The carbon frame has had no out of the ordinary issues so far but I have found that if you get the fox40 specced option and want to flip the headset cup to the shorter position, when you turn the bars all the way to one side it rubs with the bottom of the headset, if you look closely you can also see this with tahnee seagraves sender but is probaly only cosmetic in terms of damage.
@@erictrang8119 Good to know! 👍Thank you dude!
To much bike for this dude
Polygon a smooth bike!
How’s the sender?
Senders holding up solid so far 👍
Any issues with the carbon frame? Love the bike man!
@@Po7ent nope no quality issues so far for me, but have heard a select few have had play issues with the interchangeable headset cups but after changing it to others ones was fixed
What deity bars do you have
I have the red brendog signature bars! that i can’t find anywhere anymore 😢
dont scratch it
More plzz 🙏
Nice bike. I ordered a New YT Tues. Canyon was my second choice.
Yeah the Tues seems like a super sick bike as well 👍

@@erictrang8119 Yapp, thanks.. Can you share your gopro settings? ( In a video maybe? )
it was nice riding with you dude!! sick bike!!! 💯👌
Yup was super sick riding with you too!! hope we ride again in the near future :D
@@erictrang8119 yea dude 💯!!! 🤘🤘
What a crazy nice track 😱 Where is it? And good riding btw. 👌🏼
Thanks!, it's in Ourimbah in NSW, Australia!
Oh man, I was so concentrated on your riding, that I didn’t pay attention to the title 🙈🙈🙈
hey man, the bike look stunning, how the ride impression? I think the new sander cfr only offer mullet in size S and M, i was planning to get one. my height is 173cm, should I go with size S or M? thanks
The bike rides Great! It is definitely very versatile in which depending on what you are riding you can change the reach and chainstay length! definitely is quiet from the factory and is I feel the type of bike where you would feel immediately comfortable in. For your height I'd definitely go with a size M just because you would have a more usable range of adjustment, Tahnee Seagrave is 169cm and uses a size M on the shortest setting so you'd fit the size M perfectly :)
@@erictrang8119 canyon website recommends size S with my height, maybe I might try out size M frame. Thanks man. Subscribe 👍
@@RoquetteAttaquer yup a size small frame would also work for a jumpy poppy oriented ride feel ! 👍
sick, whats camera set up do you have?
I use a Gopro hero 7 black on a chin mount!
Sick run dude...(subd)🤘
How did you change the color of the little bits on the bike to red on the frame like on the seat stay?
I cut out the pieces from my mudhugger decals and put frame protectors over it, although the seat stay isn't red now because I replaced it following a crash :0
Sick video man! 😀🤙
yo love the video keep it up love to see more
Hey great Video, i've also shorten the chain for like one link, it was just a bit too long and sat on the chainstay in the lowest gear. I'm also really happy with the way it rides. 🤙
I am thinking of buying one where can I buy these bike from love from india
From the canyon.com website 👍
Size of the frame? and How tall are you sir? Tnx
I’m around 168 cm running a size Small frame with a reach of 435mm and it fits perfect for my preference for a more agile feeling bike, and with the option of a 8mm + or - reach adjustment! Riders abit taller can definitely run a medium given how adjustable it is 👍
Im 1.80 tall and use a medium frame, feels perfec!
How does it perform? Do you have the mullet version?
Yep I have the mullet version, The bike performs insane, switching from a 27.5 front wheel to 29 I could charge into rock gardens without the head shaking feeling you sometimes get on really rocky consecutive bumps. The progressiveness on the rear link is a big improvement from my old bike in the way that you don’t have to run a super high sprint rate to make it feel supportive and bottom out resistant and the bike is really easy to take apart and service too!
@@erictrang8119 Thanks for your feedback. Is the new sender still agil enough for some bikepark shredding and fun jumps?
@@tomschubot Yeah For sure ! especially because it doesn’t implement a high pivot point like some other new bikes its a super well rounded bike that works well on bike park terrain and big jumps especially when you have the option the adjust the reach for different situations. you can have a look at my Instagram if you are keen on seeing how it jumps! 👍
Is this 2021 bike?
no is the colory of 2020
It’s the 2021 canyon sender model 👍
0:36 what is in this box if I can ask?
Fox 40 and shock manuals, fork bumpers, Shimano user manuals, and the Reach adjuster headset cups ! Oh and also a metal spacer that goes under the handlebar stem that you NEED :)
Sic!
Nice run mate. Love that track.
Pretty good run, i also filmed a run there check out my lines.
hm tempted to try this run on the ol' hardtail
