Headlights, taillights, brake lights, blinkers, and mirrors. (Laws vary by state) These can also be tagged as Low Speed Vehicle. Allowing them to be operated with less restriction. With a LSV you get certain DOT qualifications and a VIN issued by the manufacturer.

There are requirements federally for Low Speed Vehicles (street legal) but many states also have different requirements. Other than the basics which is speed between 20-25, head lamps, side view mirrors, seat belts, and many other accessories, the cart has to be manufactured as a low speed vehicle and accompanied with an MSO *title that has a 17 digit VIN number like a car.

Could be things as simple as loose connections to the main positive and main negative, corrosion in the plug, your power source, or could be your charger. If this is a consistent problem you are experiencing please contact your dealer so they can get this serviced under warranty.

Sorry for the late response! Star golf carts come in a range of battery sizes which will be the leading factor in determining range. For example a 105 ah battery you could expect anywhere from 25-30 miles. New carts come well equipped with AC drive motors which offer much better performance on hills than the old DC motors that used to come standard in golf carts.

@saltyfryesgolfcarts6005 I just bought a star sirius lifted with the 210 AH AC motor. They said it gets a range around 60 miles.

We suggest it to be consistent with the owners manual.

There is a break in period for the batteries. Of at least 15 charge cycles. However you should allow the batteries to discharge to 70% or below before plugging the cart in to properly condition the batteries.

It should just be a three position toggle switch. You should feel three distict clicks in the switch as you move it up and down. your switch may be loose or need to be replaced under warranty. please contact your dealer.

The carbon fiber weave pattern is a hydro dipped pattern.

It is not, they are hard mold plastic material with carbon finish.

These carts come very well equipped with quality parts. Our customers put thousands of miles on these carts and are loving them.

This is a very good question. It is not required to turn the switch off, but we recommend this as standard practice, because this will cut the power to the motor and the controller to save these components in the case of a rare power surge. I’m not sure that this could be the issue with your EMB but if the cart is new this should be covered under warranty and we recommend contacting your dealer.

@@saltyfryesgolfcarts6005 turned out to be separate issue . The brakes need loosened they were too tight and in turn when the electromagnetic brake started to turn on it completely locked my wheels. Simple fix . From now on I turn the switch on off but I guess what’s more important is pluggin into a receptacle , with the only thing drawing electricity is the charger for the golf cart .

We sell lifted models but to our knowledge there is no aftermarket lift kit.

I'm not aware of an after market lift kit but you can buy them with factory lifts.

They are two carts of the same model only one is lifted. Thanks for your comment

I believe they do have a e20, will have to double check. That would be with only the front seat.
