I've considered this more than a few times - the reason I haven't done this is because it looks like the instructions are just in the ninja scroll now. I haven't played the game from scratch since that update, so I haven't verified it, but I haven't seen anyone come into discord/etc. and say otherwise. I could give it another look to be sure, though.

I've been out because I've been moving over the last month or so. I'm moved in to my new apartment, so probably this week.

I didn't actually get that one. That said, once you get on the boxes, try aiming at the target and shooting at it - the timer should start once you hit your first bullseye.

@@Rainbow_Ninja_Man I am fairly sure its not for the golden bullseye targets scattered in that area because hitting them tallies no points. I am certain it is supposed to be the machine to the right of the boxes that resembles a giant bowl of fruits with a mechanism for air expulsion pointing upwards.

How did you record it? You can probably downsample it. Otherwise, you should be able to process it properly on any reasonable laptop or desktop if you can move that file over.

Hey axel - I'm on the Valve Index using PC VR. The Steam leaderboards and the Quest leaderboards aren't synced up, so I can't see your score. That said, a score of almost 8000 points is very impressive. Be sure to record your runs and throw them somewhere we can watch them. I look forward to seeing you fight for that high score - that's most of the fun of these types of games, trading off the leaderboard position. :D

@@joeyprater9989 Yeah it's kinda nuts what putting in regular playtime does.

That's like the one I haven't gotten. Apparently the trick is supposed to be that you hold your wrists in the right spot and shoot it with a slow-ish and steady-ish rhythm so that the gong doesn't sway back and forth, but that's as far as I've got. You also really do want to be using the crossbows for it. My best is in the 20s, but I haven't gotten 30 yet.

@@skullmastergamer It just happens after you hit 50 fruit in a row without missing. It's actually unavoidable unless you intentionally miss fruit.

I also found out a way to double your score You need at least one crossbow First, when you’re about to start the game, move away from the point where the watermelon spawns, then quickly hit it before it disappears. If you did it right, you should be starting the countdown, a with another watermelon still there. Then, hit the watermelon again before the countdown runs out. Then you can get double points.

You don't. You point the crossbow down to reload - that's why you need to figure out how to flick your wrists good to reload fast.

I don't know - I unlocked most things before the last update, so I can't say.

I have no idea why the sai wouldn't unlock by default. The original crossbow doesn't unlock for everyone, though. You can work around this by grabbing them around the map - they're just lying around most of the time.

I was *so* close to breaking that high score too, genuinely sad.

I missed some of the pots myself, but the counter for them doesn't reset when you turn off the game and you can just hit the same pots again later.

You should just start out with the Ninja Sai unlocked - those are the first sai. That sounds like a bug that I've never encountered, say something about it in the FNVR2 Discord. For the "last" crossbow: I haven't myself unlocked the cookie crossbow. It requires shooting the far target behind the archery area 30 times in 30 seconds, which I just haven't managed to do yet. If it requires something special to do, then I don't know, sorry. ^^; If you're talking about the default crossbows, however, then those don't unlock. That's a known glitch. You can find some lying around if you want to use them, but you can't equip them from the menu.

Oh, that's the legendary blade. You get it by doing the following: 1) Clear all the missions on your pad for the Zen mode area. 2) Go up to the blade - which is in the stone that's right in front of you while you're playing Zen mode - and then pull it out. If I recall correctly it's the only one where step 2 happens, it's kinda neat.

Nope. However, the count for pots breaking shouldn't reset between turning the game off and on again, and the pots respawn. So, you should just be able to hit two of the same pots from before. If they didn't patch that out, then you should be able to get your bamboo blades with no problem.

@@Rainbow_Ninja_Man I thought that might be the case, but never restarted the game lol. I already have the bamboo blades, bought them in a previous version, just wanted to complete all the challenges lol Cheers for the advice :)

All of them are "real" in the sense that none of them are hacked. The ones for Perfect Form are due to a glitch that shows up sometimes, and it's not intentional on the part of anyone

Oh yeah, that crossbow is the default one (the one on the right in the channel thumbnail). It starts unlocked, but due to a bug you can't select it as your default equipment. They're scattered around, so if you want to use them you can just grab a pair and hold on to them.
