I’m about to try these out on my 5th gen Chevy Camaro SS… It’s not as heavy as a Dodge, of course; hopefully as a daily driver, these brake pads will hold up just as good or a tiny bit better than the ceramic OEM GM/AC Delco brake pads (all around)… I’m assuming since semi-metallic already has the best heat tolerance, out of organic, ceramic, and all other “in between” hybrid brake pads; we should be seeing some decent to moderately good performance. They were roughly about half the price for a full front and rear brake pad set, when compared to a complete OEM GM/AC Delco brake pad set. This made me double guess my decision; but me being in a budget, I found these on Rockauto, in the heavy duty section of all the available brake pad options. My factory brake rotors are also made by Brembo, as were the factory brake pads. The pads themselves were a carbon-ceramic, high performance hybrid compound. They did give off a moderate amount of brake dust, as well as a decent amount of noise… However, braking performance was good; not Godly amazing, but fairly good. Seeing as how OEM pads and rotors were the go-to option for the most basic brake replacement choices, I definitely didn’t want to swap my rotors with any cheap, generic aftermarket drilled and slotted rotors. Most of those are probably done for solely AESTHETIC reasons… which should be a huge concern for a performance/sports car..
